Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Ontario Provincial Police in Canada warned residents Friday morning to be on the lookout for two cows and a sheep seen wandering loose in downtown Kemptville.
The police said on social media that officers responded to the area to try to guide the animals away from roads, but drivers were urged to "travel with caution around the area until they can be contained."

If one was named Karen, she might have been looking for a manager.
In the mid 1980’s at Beale AFB, CA, the base was so big they leased out land to ranchers in the area inside the main base. One afternoon, about a thousand pounds of bull got loose and wandered into housing and the cops were overmatched trying to catch it. Oh, they tried. But all they could really do was surveillance until the rancher got an old fashioned cowboy up there to rope it and take it back to the ranch. Meantime, a few fences were toppled and some trash cans were sent flying as spooking a thousand pounds of bull into running is not real bright.

“So .. . two cows and a sheep walk into a bar .. .”
The bartender says, “is this some kind of joke?”
Another joke about The View?
Why would the populace need to warned about two cows and a sheep. All they have to do is head them out.
Now, when I was a kid, one cow we had was as mean as a snake and was all the time trying to catch me out in the open to gore me. Once, she tried to head me off from the treeline I was fleeing to.
It’s not boring, it’s amusing. :) Would that all breaking news was about something non-controversial, non-violent and non-political.
We have facebook page here for roaming dogs, cats, chickens, horses, cattle, etc. with responses like: “That’s one of Frank’s cows, I’ll call him.”

I have spent a lot of time in Ontario, six months in one stretch, and have a great deal of respect for the OPP, and Ontario in general.

Because too many people think they are Disney princesses when they aren't?
But even people who do not think that are not aware that cows can kick to the side. And it hurts. They think if they are not behind the cow it can not kick. And boy do they have another thing coming.
It's a hoof. A hoof is what is coming. And at speed.
When I visited Assisi, I walked the streets that were built on a hillside. The strangest site I saw was some sort of bovine animal, an ox or something but not real huge, just wandering around the street by itself. I didn’t try to pet it or anything and just went on about my business.
Oh, and I didn’t go to Tuscany because the maestro said that there was nothing to rent.
Ewe is so baaaaad.
Our jerseys are only 44 inches and people think they are mini-cows. Nope, just normal sized.
