Sources within the police community told the New York Post that the UnitedHealthcare CEO’s killer traveled to NYC on a Greyhound bus from Atlanta last month.
The bus on which the killer is believed to have traveled originated in Atlanta, however, authorities are not certain as whether the killer boarded the bus there or climbed aboard at a stop along the way.
Breitbart News reported 50-year-old Thompson was shot and killed outside the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan just after 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday.
A manhunt for the killer was immediately launched and today marks the third day of the hunt.
On Thursday the NYPD released surveillance images showing the suspected killer without a mask:

It's a complete violation of the 4th Amendment.
Interstate operation, and if there was more than one person, it would be a conspiracy, and the first people the FBI should look at are be parents complaining at school-board meetings.
If it’s a Statiin Six 9, it’s a bolt action pistol, necessitating racking the slide before each shot.
The victim was going to a shareholder's meeting for the company of which he was the CEO; this was public information.
An expensive exotic. Quick reading, yesterday, led me to belive they only made 1400 of them. I’m going with something more mundane until they prove otherwise.
He’s toast.
If they know that, they’re going to get him.
A planned pro may have intentionally planted-dropped, false leads all over.
What time did the meeting start?
How did the killer know when the victim was going to arrive at the hotel?
How did the killer know which entrance the victim would use when they entered the hotel?
“Public information?”
Nope. Not buying it.
Does the video show the shooter opening and closing the bolt? That requires a 90 degree turn on this pistol, I believe. What I saw just looked likd he was clearing brass that didn’t eject.
Even if he had a fake ID, he’s done.
If they have that level of information, they will be able to find other CCTV footage, interview people that spoke to him or sat next to him, etc etc etc.
At this point, it’s just an easter egg hunt for the next piece of information until you finally resolve the identity.
If this guy were smart, it’s time to leave the country to some place that doesn’t like us.
A lot of this stinks of antifa.
Another angle, we don’t know whether Thompson “had had enough” and planted the seed in his wife’s mind “threats”, and paid the assailant himself, so to go out looking like a victim.
Perhaps, from the “victim” himself:

I have to go with the most likely perp in any homicide without strong evidence leading in another direction—the spouse hired a killer.
Not all hired killers are skilled professionals—it is probably a normal curve of skill level like any other occupation.
Not a normal “ homicide” Big 💲💲💲
Who exactly gains from the guy being dead?
We know the wife does.
Lol.
Note: This is not the only guy who knew corporate secrets. They have other folks on the executive team who are still alive.
If another one of those gets knocked off then I will change my view.
That was my first thought.....after her blase’ statement to the press.
Great pickup. I’ve heard media speculating on “something like a Wellrod” but am astounded a company makes/tries to sell such a thing — at over $2000 a pop.
Could there be a more foolish choice for a high profile public assassination? Relatively few of these $2,000 novelty pistols would exist; buying one requires a successful NFA transfer application and tax stamp; the rarity makes acquiring a stolen one implausible. By now, even BATFE should have traced every one of them ever made or sold, and interviewed the owners. (”Gee, it’s not here. My son must have taken it out rabbit hunting...”)
I’d think a professional killer would use the most common possible stolen 9mm, throw on an aftermarket threaded barrel and a stolen suppressor. Will be interesting to see how this turns out.
“Note: This is not the only guy who knew corporate secrets. They have other folks on the executive team who are still alive”
Duress, “had had enough”
And also might be used as defense by a party indicted.
