Sources within the police community told the New York Post that the UnitedHealthcare CEO’s killer traveled to NYC on a Greyhound bus from Atlanta last month.

The bus on which the killer is believed to have traveled originated in Atlanta, however, authorities are not certain as whether the killer boarded the bus there or climbed aboard at a stop along the way.

Breitbart News reported 50-year-old Thompson was shot and killed outside the Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan just after 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

A manhunt for the killer was immediately launched and today marks the third day of the hunt.

Do you need to show ID to get on a bus? Even an interstate bus?

Don’t give the Left any new ideas. They’re all for anything that increases their control.

“Do you need to show ID to get on a bus? Even an interstate bus?”

A quick Internet search says that the official answer is “yes” but the real world answer is “no”.

That means they have the right to ask for ID but rarely do so.

Greyhound won’t let you ride without a state ID, at least.

I don't know about Greyhound, but the airport bus services look for something, but they don't check them thoroughly.

Very possibly.

It seems smart to cross states before starting out in an original location.

This is one of those “rules” that is ignored more than it is enforced.

We live in a world with a lot of those.

People are spazzing out about the Welrod, but I think it’s just a Beretta with a modified suppressor.

Possibly. F4om what ice, read, he was using subsonic rounds, and with a suppressor the gas would not be sufficient to automatically re-chamber a round, hence why people are saying the weapon jammed; he was just re-racking after every shot.

I think that was the reason for the phone. Somebody was telling the murderer the CEO location at all times and when he left his room to go to the meeting. The description of the clothes he was wearing was also relayed to the murderer.

I used to take the bus regularly to go to out-of-state medical appointments. I was always asked for my ID when I purchased a ticket.

It looked like all the bullets had writing on them, he knew he only had to hit 3-4 shots, so he filled the mag with 8 rounds and just force reloaded. Two live rounds ended up on the pavement when the gun cycled and he ejected it.
