Calling all Senior citizens — AARP membership just dropped to $9 a year

You might have been waiting for this moment your entire life, or perhaps you’re just looking for a reason to embrace 50 years of life. But, friends, 50 is when you officially hit the “Senior” stage and start reaping the benefits of an AARP membership.

While we don’t quite agree with being called a “Senior” at such a young age, we can’t deny the incredible perks of being an AARP member. Right now, you can get a year-long membership for just $9 per year. After that, a second membership for anyone in your household will be free.

What comes with a membership?

An AARP membership unlocks discounts, programs, and services from trusted brands, such as AT&T, Denny’s, Hilton and more. If you like traveling, this membership will offer flight discounts to cruises so you can be frugal with hard-earned cash. After all you’ve worked your entire life, let AARP do the heavy lifting from now on and scour the best prices for you.

Be sure to install the brand’s trusted extension on your browser. Just by using it, you can earn up to 750 AARP Rewards Points and up to 15 daily points. Points can be redeemed for sweepstakes entries, gift cards, local deals, and discounts at your favorite stores.

Those two faced vipers met with Barack, got his okay for them to get cut in of piece of the action by special insurance deal for AARP to offer, and then came out smiling with Obama.

And the gay lesbian agendas. That’s when I gave up my membership. I didn’t like supporting these groups.

In addition to supporting O-care, they also supported Clinton when he raised the taxable portion of social security payments from 50% to 85%. I have never been able to figure out how an organization that claims to want to help seniors, could support increasing the level of taxation on their ss.

BTW, I think Trump is discussing dropping the 85% rate altogether. IOW, no taxation on ss payments.

Jerks are shilling for AARP, the very group who got into to bed with the DemocRats and pushed very, very hard for Obamacare. Just say NO.

I will give an extra $9.00 to my local food bank. And for the year 2025, I will again forego a membership in AARP.

Yes and the Medicare Supplement Programs are more expensive than other plans offering the exact same benefits.

Their price dropped because they need to; they are a wasted effort; no senior “needs” AARP.

I just cancelled my AARP membership after just beginning it because they absolutely blew me up on e-mails and snail mail with their advertisers trying to sell me everything under the sun. They are still sending me stuff after cancellation. It is all a money-making scam, not something to help seniors. Don’t get me started....
