On December 9, 1965, A Charlie Brown Christmas aired on TV screens across America and instantly captured the hearts and ears of a generation. Bolstering the animated special, based on Charles M. Schulz's immensely popular PEANUTS comic strip, was an engaging score from Bay Area jazz artist Vince Guaraldi, who brought characters like Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy to life through his evocative cues... Guaraldi's soundtrack, meanwhile, has since become one of the best-selling jazz albums in history, second only to Miles Davis' Kind of Blue, and regularly ranks among America's top-selling holiday albums every December.

Saw Steve Hackett last year, perform the entire Foxtrot album.
:^) Six saintly shrouded men, move across the lawn slowly... I have a friend who’s seen him three or four times over recent years, Hackett has been doing anniversary tours for the various Genesis albums he was on.
Outside of Supper’s Ready, “Can Utility And The Coastliners” is my favorite from the album.
Since 1979 he's been trawling the Museum’s 130,000 clay tablets for clues about life in ancient Mesopotamia. In this film, he tells us about a particular tablet he found that contains the rules of a board game – a board game that he’s been obsessed with since childhood!Deciphering the world's oldest rule book

That is a fave of mine as well. I like that short side two instrumental a lot. Haven’t heard any of it in a long while. Saw the tribute band “The Musical Box” over ten years ago when they were doing that LLDOB tour.
I’ve got the YT version of CUatC streaming right now. :^)
Just saw a preview for this...

An older sibling had the LP of this, I hadn't heard any of it in over 50 years, dunno what got me thinking about it lately. 3DN was one of the most popular and successful vocal cover bands of the era, this live album foreshadowed Peter Frampton's "Comes Alive" success. This performance was as the opening act for Steppenwolf, sez here.

My view is that his primary channel, toldinstone, has declined in the past year. He has a toldinstonefootnotes channel which is more a podcast, and some of those may be interesting, but I haven't tried them yet (I'm not a huge fan of the podcast format). His Scenic Routes to the Past is built more like toldinstone, but involves his travel to various sites around the world.

Besides Santana's big comeback circa 1980, Ligertwood did vocals for (of all groups) Dixie Dregs, and in the late 1970s for David Sancious. BTW, "She's Not There" is from The Zombies originally. Alex' birthday is December 18, 1946, meaning he's about to turn 78!
