Most Catholics in all seven countries want the church to allow Catholics to use birth control.
In most of the countries surveyed, majorities of Catholics also say the church should allow women to become priests.
Opinion is more divided on whether the church should allow priests to get married.
Views on whether the church should recognize the marriages of gay and lesbian couples vary among Catholics in the countries surveyed.
Ten years ago, nearly all Catholics surveyed there (98%) expressed a favorable opinion of Francis, compared with 74% today.

why
Majority doesn’t rule the Catholic Church.
Shows a lack of proper teaching from the Church. No Catholic should want female “priest”.
Many Catholics in the U.S. and Latin America Want the Church to Allow Birth Control

Who cares what they want the Catholic Church to do? Most Catholics already use birth control.

According to recent data, a large majority of U.S. Catholics use birth control methods that are not approved by the Catholic Church.
Specifically:
99% of sexually experienced Catholic women have used a contraceptive method other than natural family planning at some point in their lives
87% of Catholic women who are at risk of unintended pregnancy currently use a contraceptive method other than natural family planning
68% of Catholic women at risk of unintended pregnancy are currently using highly effective contraceptive methods like sterilization, IUDs, or hormonal methods.
Breaking it down further:
92% of Catholics have used condoms
68% have used birth control pills
23% have used emergency contraception (Plan B)
In contrast, only about 2-3% of Catholics use natural family planning methods approved by the Church.
These statistics show that contraceptive use among U.S. Catholics is very similar to that of the general population, despite the Church’s official stance against artificial birth control.
As opposed to how many that want God to save them?
How are the members and the Church going to reverse the teachings of Christ?
Speaking of “birth control” (Abortion)
AI tells us this.....
According to the latest data from the Guttmacher Institute, 24% of women who have abortions in the United States identify as Catholic. This percentage is nearly equivalent to the proportion of U.S. women who identified as Catholic (22%) in a 2014 Pew Research Center survey.
Sadly true.
This just in - majority of Jews at base of Mt Sinai want a golden calf to lead them.
How are the members and the Church going to reverse the teachings of Christ?

That ship sailed in the 3rd Century. When Roman Catholicism began.

Perhaps America needs poverty again, in order to have families, and faith.
Who cares what “the majority” (i.e. poorly catechised) want? People in hell want ice water but they aren’t going to get it.
“No Catholic should want female “priest”.”
Just my experience but churches/synagogues that allow women pastors are or quickly become leftist.
If every denomination did this there would be no differences between the groups; they would just become leftist political clubs. Then there’d be no reason to show up on Saturday or Sunday.
Total failure of Church leadership to properly educate biblical principles within the body of Christ.
This is supposed to be one of the strengths of the RC Church, purity of the teachings.
4th, not 3rd.
Nope, not going to happen
