A Brooklyn straphanger was randomly shoved onto subway tracks by a woman in a gray trench coat Sunday morning, cops say.
The 43-year-old victim was standing on a southbound platform at the Kosciuszko Street station in Bedford-Stuyvesant around 9 a.m. when his unidentified assailant in a long coat suddenly pushed him onto the J train tracks, the NYPD and police sources told The Post.

Always stay sharp when you are out in the public. Especially if you are around “diversity”. Wear good shoes or sneakers, not slides, flip flops , crocs, or the like. My father always told me when going out to run errands, etc, to pick the right footwear as if I was dressing to go to a fight. Good advice.

The word random in the headline speaks volumes.

“ok so its just a generic term for a subway rider?..”
Subway cars used to have leather “straps” to hang onto when standing to maintain balance. Riders were therefore “straphangers”.

“Woman”? I expect that this "woman" is a transvestite that "identifies" as a woman.

One straphanger down on the left. Looks like a hand on a strap down on the right.
Lots of empty straps.
