What happens when an atmospheric river and a “bomb cyclone” happen at the same time? Unfortunately, millions of people living on the west coast are about to find out. Extremely high winds, massive amounts of rain, and blizzard conditions in the mountains are being forecast for the days ahead, but nobody is quite sure exactly how this extremely unusual weather event is going to play out.

I am from Washington State...let me translate...it is going to rain really hard, and snow in the mountains. Could be windy, too. (I lived through the Columbus Day storm in @1962.)

Bomb!!! Cyclone!!!

We’re all gonna die!!!

Growing up in the San Francisco Bay area, when Kalifornia was California and Reagan Country, I remember some Octobers, Novembers and Decembers where it was news if it did not rain. Weeks and weeks of downpours.

Other years, there was less rain. By February, all the Drive-By Media could talk about was the drought. And, of course, we’re all gonna die!!! The next month it rained and rained and rained. Then, the Drive-By Media said Horrible Flooding, we’re all gonna die!!!

Because they didn’t manage the forests, so they had devastating fires and now that means devastating mudslides and floods.

“Remember when it was just “Weather”?”

Yeah I remember when the weather report would simply say a low pressure system will bring rain to the west coast.

Brings rain to Texas, so I’m good with that.

More/better Winter grass and full tanks.
