You still didn’t explain how it caused a billion dollars of harm.

Stop being a weasel and answer the question.

A lot of people say the moon landing was fake and that 9/11 was an inside job. I think it’s crazy but these people shouldn’t be sued into oblivion for hurting someone’s feelings.

This isn’t just one suit or one family - there are numerous suits against him.

I don’t know how judges, juries and individual jurisdictions assess damages. How do you put a price on an individual’s reputation?

What I know is that he’s got himself in a mess, and he brought it entirely upon himself.

Find me a case where someone brought a lawsuit against someone else over the moon landing or 9-11. Who would they sue?

That’s very different than defamation of identifiable individuals who have suffered a terrible personal loss.

So me one other burning building that collapsed in a perfectly symmetrical manner. I dare you.

Trust the Trump. You got to take a swing to get a hit.

If you don’t try, it don’t happen. Trump has placed his bet, it is a good swing. It is amazing how many hits he makes.

Why would ‘they’ do it to that one much smaller building?

Or are you claiming all the buildings were ‘controlled demolitions’?

How do you put a price on an individual’s reputation?

They didn't even know about it until five years later when the ambulance chasers recruited them.

I fail to see any effect on their "reputations" at all.

This was lawfare to silence a political opponent. It had nothing to do with justice. The ambulance chasers even told the judge they didn't care if the families got a penny. They just wanted Jones deplatformed and silenced forever.

Show me just one other burning building that collapsed perfectly symmetrically like those three.

Just one. I dare you.

I double-dog dare you.

The engineers in the second article I linked couldn’t find any.

You believe as you do. But I don’t buy it.

Thanks for the conversation.

“Show me just one other burning building that collapsed perfectly symmetrically like those three. Just one. I dare you.”

Is that a product of your extensive knowledge of materials science and engineering? Probably not.

There’s been multiple investigations of WTC and Building 7 by failure analysis engineers who do that as a profession. NIST. MIT. Exponent, the former Failure Analysis Associates. Many of the studies are available for free on the internet.

But since those reports don’t tickle the imagination of conpsiracy addicts, nuttism continues to prosper.

How about you add up all the possible money they could ever earn in a lifetime, and use that as the value of their "reputation"?

Think it will come up to a billion?

All I asked was for you to come up with a single other burning building that collapsed in a perfectly symmetrical manner like the three 911 buildings.

Surely you can come up with one, even though the engineers in the second link couldn’t.

That’s very different than defamation of identifiable individuals who have suffered a terrible personal loss.

I consider their loss trivial compared to the damage caused by allowing people to be shut down over speech people don't like.

This is a chilling result, and one that promises to usher in a totalitarian state.

Love him or hate him, the US feral government's proxy war on free speech via Alex Jones should terrify and/or enrage you. If they can get Alex Jones, they can get you.

Well perhaps it would be best not to spread outrageous, disgusting lies on a media platform about people who went through a horrific event in their lives and just expect them not to sue for defamation.

It is ridiculous to paint him as a victim. Defamation is not free speech. Never has been.
