I went hoping for a good, adult concept movie, and got 2 hours of ponderous propaganda. The cardinals unknowingly elect a hermaphrodite as pope. It is played out as divinely ordained. Save your money!

Is it a comedy? Sounds like one.
Thanks for saving me the bucks.

Thanks for the heads-up, even though I do not go to the movie theaters anymore. Sounds hideous like all the movies they seem to put out anymore. 🙂👍

Ah, a steaming pile of dung and fetid offal.

I watched it for free from behind a VPN on a pirate streaming site.
The hermaphrodite Pope was supposed to prove we are all bigots I suppose.
The villain was a traditionalist archbishop.
The hero was a woke archbishop.
The new pervert supremacist Pope was the Voice of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
So predictable.

I am hoping "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" is a decent one to take the cubs to.
I have mostly given up on "thoughtful movie for actual grown ups".

From the trailer we saw at the theatre over the summer, it looked good.
But on reconsideration, maybe not.

My brother and sister went to see Conclave and were furious at how bad it was.

I thought it was a pretty good movie. Didn’t think it was life changing but I thought it was well shot and well played.

Back in 1978 (I forget if it was the first or second conclave), the student paper at my university had a piece urging the cardinals to elect a woman pope...citing the (fictitious) precedent of Pope Joan.

it is so bad the Bishop Barron condemned it as Anti Catholic.

I concur. The set and the inner workings of the Vatican in the film were interesting-—up until a single sentence of dialogue. Then I was pissed.
