Newsman ^

Posted on 11/08/2024 7:41:58 AM PST by DIRTYSECRET

no senator appears to be willing to be the first person who publicly calls for Sotomayor to step down.

However, Democrats have discussed possible replacements, with D.C. Circuit Judge J. Michelle Childs being mentioned.

Childs was vetted and even received backing by a few GOP senators such as Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C.

Amy Coney-Barret was the real bad choice. She’s good on religious liberty and gun rights but she’s just like Roberts on the rest....ie she’s a squish.

No more females. This election was a mandate for men. That is the only group from which Trump should choose all future judges.

**I doubt if Judge Sotomayor’s ego would allow her to quietly resign and recede into the background**

It’s leftists and their egos. Think Joe Biden, Ginsberg. What happened to taking one for the team?

Hope the DemoRats push her so hard to resign that it pisses her off and she votes against them in her rulings. Ahhh but not betting on it either.

As much as I believe that ALito and Thomas are the best justices, they are 74 and 76...time to age down about 25 years with similar minds. Trump has the senate and a popluar mandate.

Dem unity is like the unity of thieves. They turn on each at the drop of a hat.

My implication includes the Senate and it applies not just to this situation but anything questionable these people try to get done in the next couple months. There will indeed be consequences if they don’t pay heed to this massive shift in public opinion which has given Trump an unassailable mandate.

Thomas and Alito are the ones who need to do that. God forbid one of those two falls ill or something prior to Jan 20.

Republicans (fortunately) blocked Merrick Garland.

They can do it again this time if necessary!

If I were Sotomayor, I would hire a food taster and avoid stairs and other risks of falling.

Let’s see. Thomas retires in June and Trump picks Cameron the loser in the Ky. Gov. race. Conservative, black fella and YOUNG.

The following June Alito retires-think mid-terms. Trump nominates-guess who-VANCE! Vance gets replaced with DeSantis and Trump can ‘offer’ to quit early provided the mid-terms stay with the gop. It sets up DeSantis for 10 years. 2 young judges. I’m talking’ 30 years, not 20.

Vance will have 1 and 1/2 years to campaign for the SCOTUS by debating top-tier democrat wannabes on social issues. Now if Sotomeier quits Trump can ‘offer’ her seat to Hillary for a price. Once seated Hillary will only have to live long enough for another democrat to win the WH. We’ll still have a solid 6-3.

I’ve written this before.

This is not the big issue. Harris should invoke 25th amendment and become 47th Pres.

Then, we all get to watch the HilaryHag stroke out on camera.

And recall that it was McConnell who kept Garland out of any Senate hearings for approval. Prevented the lunatic Garland from ever becoming anything— except a jerka@@ AG— who may well do time for the Jack Smith illegality. Both of them.

Garland of course is part of the DC circuit circle of paedos, along with his pal Emmett Sullivan now retired who conducted a case against Lt. General Flynn AFTER the AG William Barr withdrew the governments case!! Garland is like Merchan-— foreign owned.

BTW Merchan/Marchan is supposed to sentence Trump next week— seriously doubt it.

And Letitia James is in danger of Federal crime and sent to 10 years plus federal pen for the “federalizing” of NY state laws. States cannot “try” in state courts what would have to be federal statute crimes.. She made them up.

Pray for Giuliani against the two female apes who some judge said should be awarded his assets for “defamation” of absolute nobody project dwellers (who were btw awarded a medal by Biden for cheating in Fulton county GA— on camera and using chinese prefilled out ballots shipped to Atlanta from the Houston embassy/consulate).
