Sam's Club offers members an embarrassment of riches regarding food options. From prepared meals to baked goods like fall pies, members can complete their weekly grocery runs at their local warehouse, stocking up their refrigerators and pantries with many items sold in bulk. Equally as impressive is Sam's Club's array of frozen foods, including appetizers, entrées, desserts, and everything in between.

I have a soft spot for the old school TV Dinners (Swanson, Banquet). I swear the Trader Joe’s fried chicken uses the same breading that Swanson’s did. (better chicken, though). I like the meatloaf, Salisbury steak, turkey, little carrot cubes with peas, the mashed potatoes are wonderfully horrible, and maybe an apple or peach cobbler.
I like those myself
We don’t have a Sam’s Club in my neck of the woods, but my wife and I were in Costco on Saturday. She kept asking me if I wanted their frozen foods. I would respond, is it on the food recall list?
We chose not to buy any of it.
Me, too. Sort of embarrassing but I look for it first in freezers and never find it. Memories of childhood. Thanks for the hint about Trader Joe’s.
Members-mark-pumpkin-spice-cheesecake looks good.
I remember the Swanson TV dinners in the 50s in the foil containers with pockets for the different foods. Mom almost always cooked, but she’d occasionally serve us those. It was weird — after home-cooked food all the time, the TV dinners seemed like a treat. We had metal folding TV tables and would actually eat them on the TV tables while watching TV.
Hadn’t thought about that in years!

I’m partial to the Minh egg rolls. Problem is the box is so big it takes up too much room in the freezer. Need to invest in a chest freezer.
The NFL eats 3,600-4,300 of Smuckers Uncrustables per week. About 80,000 annually. It was #12 on the list.
My son takes them in his tackle box when he fly fishes. I did teach him how to make a peanut butter sandwich!
I had a free sample of the salmon bites on Saturday. They were pretty good.
What’s the definition of Best ?
I used to use those for dinners on occasion when I worked full time.
They were very convenient.
I shop at Sam’s Club regular but wouldn’t eat any of that stuff. Mostly just a bunch of dead calories.
Processed chemical-infused crap.
MAHA
A ton of sugar and carbs, too. I look for keto but its often the most expensive food sold.
Just went to Sam’s this evening and got pasture eggs and fresh baby Bella mushrooms. We also buy their giant cauliflower, grapes, red onions, Ulta gift cards, Golden Corral gifts cards, and a few other items.
The last frozen item we bought was triple berry mix. Costco usually has better quality at a better price.
Costco had jalapeno poppers - jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese and cheddar, wrapped in bacon - that were to DIE for. Don’t bother with the Sam’s ones.
I LOVED those as a child. Yes, they were for special occasions. I have looked for the aluminum trays online but can’t find any. I am very ‘theme-y’ and recreate meals from different times and holidays with place settings, serve ware and food.
