Folks, advice needed:
I live in South Philadelphia, the heart of the inner city.
Some non-negotiable things: I’m not moving, I won’t surrender the ownership of my home, no surrender.
So, in anticipation of the Election, I’ve stocked up on batteries, lanterns, charcoal, matches, canned goods, fire extinguishers, cash, gold, candles, ammo, non-firing weapons, first aid supplies (wife is a Nurse) and gasoline.
Anyone better versed in this than I am have suggestions which I may have overlooked?

Put some stabilizer in that gasoline if you’re going to have it sitting around. I’ll spare you the safety lecture. I’ve got a couple of gallons sitting out in the garage myself.
None of that other stuff matters if you don’t have a water supply.
Since I installed a $49 Bidet on my toilet, I don’t need much toilet paper. 1 roll lasts a month. As a bonus, my butt is much cleaner.

be on VERY good friendly terms with the neighbors, even if they differ politically. Seriously, make cookies for them, or even do something like carry their trash out or whatever.
In every school shooting there is that one kid they tell to beat it, or they warn them in advance. Usually it’s because they did some very small kindness to them once.
If you really think you’re going to need survival stuff, you should probably start getting acquainted with ham radio.
Buy one of those sterno powered disposable buffet setups at the dollar store.
We survived days-long outages with that, frozen hot dogs, canned soup and veggies, and a little sterno camp stove to heat water for instant coffee.
Stock up a few 1 gallon old milk containers with tap water. That is what I do during hurricanes in Florida since always a risk of no water to flush toilets.

We went through two incidents where water mains broke, and we had no water for flushing or from the tap for a couple of days each time.
You need extra water on hand for that kind of thing, too.
Sheets of wood, wood planks, hammer and nails, extra towels and linens, board games, battery chargers for your phones, extra food for pets if you have any. Put your vehicles in the garage. Remove any potential projectiles from your front lawn (ornaments, lawn art).
Water, water, water.
FILL THE BATHTUB & USE a pail to ‘flush’ the toilet
I filled the bath tub on December 31, 1999.
Didn’t need it, but it made me feel better...

Get a Double Barrel Shotgun, go go go out on the ah balcony and fire off a couple rounds. Have Tim Walz reload it for you.
Also, CASH, in small dollar amounts.
This is very important to always have on hand.
