According to the company's website and other reports, the following locations are now listed as permanently closed:

New York

Middletown, 23 Crystal Run Crossing

Poughkeepsie, 2594 South Road (Route 9)

Clifton Park, 1 Southside Drive

Connecticut

Enfield, Freshwater-Stateline Plaza, 130 Elm Street

Pennsylvania

Allentown, 395 S Cedar Crest Blvd.

Virginia

Leesburg, 235 Fort Evans Rd NE

Customers at several of the locations were surprised by signs posted announcing the sudden closures.

Founded in New York City, TGI Friday's has over 200 restaurants in the US.

Yep. Got some steaks and four pounds of 80/20 at Stater Bros yesterday.

Decisions decisions...Make a thin smash burger with everything on it, dressed with thousand island, or a thick patty with a slice of onion and dressed with BBQ sauce? I bought the big onion buns too.

We dumped Friday’s from our list when they removed their “Mushrooms, Chicken and Mushrooms” and their onion rings from their list.
Now they are no different from Applebees, or OCharley’s, or whoever. They all have exactly the same menu, and the same mediocre quality.
Yes, the chain is dying because the executive office lacks either the courage or the brains to try something better.

Yep, the executive office is just the problem. Bunch of MBA’s that are clueless about running a restaurant.
