The sicknesses and deaths linked to a massive contamination of deli meats has become the largest listeria outbreak in 13 years, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday.
The agency said 14 more illnesses and five more deaths have been reported since the last update three weeks ago. The total number of people hospitalized is up to 57. Eight people have been killed.
The deadly food poisoning outbreak has led to the recall of more than 7 million pounds of popular Boar’s Head products made at a plant in Virginia. The recall impacts pre-packaged poultry and meat, plus products intended to be sliced at deli counters.

""""As a USDA-inspected food producer, the agency has inspectors in our Jarratt, Virginia plant every day and if at any time inspectors identify something that needs to be addressed, our team does so immediately, as was the case with each and every issue raised by USDA in this report," the statement said.""""

So why are the Boar's Head employees unable to see the bugs, blood, mold, and other gross stuff that the USDA inpectors are able to spot????????

Much of the problem is probably because most of the workers are now from the Third World and it’s normal in the countries from which they came.
Shouldn’t the CONvid shot and boosters take care of that? 🤔👍
They can't even understand what the fuss is all about. 8 people dead? To an illegal alien from Central America, where life is cheap, that's nothing to get upset over.
2011: Obama-Biden Regime.
2024: Harris-Biden Regime.
Both years, the Feds dropped the ball. Isn’t the FDA supposed to oversee this? What good do they do?
There should have been managers keeping track of hygiene protocols. Unless the managers themselves are DEI hires.
Also keep in mind the impact of the organic labelling crappola. Organic foods are less healthy. The restrictions on contamination by insects and critters are looser than what regulates “ordinary” (non organic) food products.
But, many have been bamboozled into thinking that “organic” = healthier, like vegetarian/vegan = healthier. So, many have been fooled into letting things pass without comment — let standards drop.
I’ve finally been vindicated. I never saw the “great quality” in Boars head. I said they were overrated since the nineties.
I agree TOTALLY with you. I never buy the stuff.
Maybe the USDA inspectors brought the bugs, blood, mold, and other gross stuff with them
You make excellent points.
The mind control, indoctrination, political correctness, dumbing down, etc. in every aspect of our lives has been very effective.
Excuse me while I go back to my cell phone.

I tried it once and agree, it not as good as just having some sliced at the grocery deli.
Way back in the day, us kids used to complain about the school cafeteria serving “mystery” meats.
Well, “mystery” meats have gone mainstream.
I like ham.
But I like my ham real.
Not sure you can find ham which has been properly cured and NOT injected with water and if I could, I probably couldn’t afford it.
“Pressed”, processed, and injected meat products are disgusting.
I heard that they had to partake in an invader employment program sponsered by the governemt
The US will learn like Europe has
that invaders will not or cannot work
Boar’s Head donates to many left wing organizations. I don’t buy them for that reason.
