Jefferson Ave between North Lamar and North 9th Street is closed due to an 18 wheeler losing part of its load. Please use another route. And no, you cannot come help “clean up.”

===================================================================
Aug. 21 (UPI) -- Police in Mississippi warned drivers to avoid an area Wednesday when a truck lost its load of beer into the roadway.
The Oxford Police Department said on social media that Jefferson Avenue was closed Wednesday between North Lamar and North 9th Street after the 18-wheeler dumped part of its load into the roadway.
Photos from the scene show the road littered with beer including Bud Light, Modelo and Natural Light.
"Please use another route," police wrote. "And no, you cannot come help 'clean up.'"

Oxford is where Ole Miss is. I was raised just a few miles north of there ................

Beer used to be illegal in Oxford (60s, 70s). Wine was OK, just not beer.

Figures. I guess everybody could put on a skirt and grab a beer. Was the driver detained? Was she sober?

Looks like it was going uphill and the trailer door flew open.........

See trannies don’t know how to zip up. The beer on the truck, their labels are all owned by the woke parent company I think. The Bud complex at Sturgis was emptier than Kamala Harris’ head.
To: Red Badger
True.
Modelo and Natural Light would pass muster.

Still are. The county where Jack Daniel’s is distilled is dry. Also, Blount County Alabama is dry, but the county seat, Oneonta, is wet. I have property there.

No one. That’s why it was not cleaned up in minutes by locals.

Bootlegging beer and spirits into dry counties in Arkansas was considered honorable employment back in the 70’s. I still think cooking shine is a decent thing. The Lonesome River band references “raise dry corn and starve death or cook it in a moonshine still”. They were right about another thing too. “it’ll get there full and it’ll get their fast but it ain’t a gonna get there free”. Capitalism, gotta love it.
To: Red Badger
Well, of course, you cannot go help clean up! That beer is reserved for the copthugs!

Natural Light is another Anheuser Busch product. It is also pretty watery.

Modelo is only InBev(A-B) outside the U.S.

Try a Peroni on such days. Only a little stronger, but crisper with a nice beer taste.
