Former President Donald J. Trump has returned to X (formerly Twitter) with a string of posts made just after noon on Monday. The 2024 Republican presidential nominee had largely been absent from the social platform since the then-sitting President’s account was suspended on January 8, 2021, by the company’s former ownership under Jack Dorsey.Since his suspension over three years ago, the former Republican President founded his own social media company, Truth Social, which went public earlier this year—earning Trump billions. Over the past two years, an exclusivity agreement with Truth Social had largely kept Trump from other social media platforms. However, it is believed that the deal has since expired.

EU PANICS.
The European Commission, the executive branch of the European Union, is now threatening tech billionaire and X owner Elon Musk, demanding he censor his August 12 evening interview with former President Donald J. Trump. European Commissioner Thierry Breton posted a letter on X, demanding Musk adhere to the E.U.’s Digital Services Act (DSA), specifically about spreading any disinformation, hatred, or incitement to violence.
Thierry’s letter also mentions recent unrest, referring to the anti-mass migration protests and riots in the U.K. over the last two weeks. Musk has been vocal about his criticism of the U.K. government’s handling of the situation, specifically the accusations that British police engage in two-tier policing practices, with allegations they have allowed Muslim mobs to run riot while cracking down hard on white British protestors.
UK GOVT PANICS.
U.K. Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer also attempted to issue a warning to Musk last week. The technology mogul was told that it was dangerous to call out two-tier policing, which Starmer claimed put officers in danger.
Now, The National Pulse understands the British government will be tuned into the Trump-Musk interview, nervous of what both men might say about the nation’s crackdown on free speech and mass arrests of anti-mass migration activists......
Trump on X Taps Into a Voting Bloc That Legacy Media Doesn’t Even Know Exists

As my colleague Bonchie reported, Axios reporter Sara Fischer appeared on CNN to complain about President Trump having an unfettered microphone with Elon Musk on X.
The Monday night conversation hails Trump’s return to the X (formerly Twitter) platform where he was unceremoniously booted almost four years before, and it has the entire legacy media complex shook.

My Twitchy colleague PolitiBunny is quite correct. They despise the fact that they are on the outside looking in. You can hear the sarcasm dripping from Fischer’s voice when she says, “Online fringe.” This online fringe she dismisses represents a YUGE and probably untapped voting bloc.
The “edgelord influencers,” make up a young and MALE segment of voters who have huge online followings, eschew TikTok, and promote alpha males. Trump and his VP running mate JD Vance have been speaking to these influencers and appearing on their podcasts and shows, so who knows how many have tuned in Monday night? So far, over 30 million people (and counting) have already plugged into Trump’s X conversation with Musk.

“an “iron curtain” has descended across the continent“
Have they blamed it on the Iranians yet?
Speaking of the monarchy, an interesting link....

BTW, note the timing on that court ruling regarding prorogation.
Handy for their Deep State, wasn’t it.
Bet it’s not Chuck they’re worried about...
The US Deep State is doing the same, but has to be careful about getting things riled up to the point where outside of DC, a rifle is behind every blade of grass.
They have the same worry as their EU counterparts: a lot of the population is either jaded or distracted by happy talk/entertainment, but unfettered information might start sinking in...then come the ants in the movie "A Bug's Life", and the respective Deep States are the grasshoppers.
“I don’t understand why the UK doesn’t just lock-out the world Internet, like China.”
Give it a couple of weeks. By the way, China does allow VPNs, otherwise foreign businesses couldn’t operate there. But VPNs have IP Addresses, so if a Chinese citizen goes to one of those addresses, like the UK (soon), he’ll also get a knock on the door and likely get to meet the Weegers.

That’s good.
“then come the ants in the movie “A Bug’s Life”, and the respective Deep States are the grasshoppers.”
Europe, didn't you read the terms of service (Bill of Rights) before signing on?
DDOS? Yep. Watched the struggle last night. Musk’s crew seemed to be able to neutralize it.
Fed Gov is afraid.
Bump.
Elections are near, Remember ALL in November.
Elon asks, “do you have a copy of the criteria?” Little Thierry replies “we will decide once we listen…”.

He won last time.
We need to secure our elections.
If you’re able-bodied, refuse to vote early or by mail.
Get your butt to the polls on Election Day.
Voting early and/or by mail gives aid and comfort to our common enemy.
Refuse to do it.
Thanks for link.
Had not read that.
But he was right about England.
They are trying to shove their old ways upon the world again.
They can forget that crap.
I agree. The conversation between Elon and Trump was excellent. At the end, they also mentioned doing this again, which is a great idea.
“They don’t want people to realize that there could be a better way.”
In the fight against the rising fascism in the West, this may have been the most momentous event to date.
