In case anyone doubted that the Secret Service was engaged in a cover-up over the cocaine baggie found in the White House in 2022 — it was.
The latest reports: As soon as a uniformed officer found the drugs and notified disgraced ex-Director Kim Cheatle that he wanted to follow certain crime scene protocols, the retaliations began — starting with that officer allegedly being taken off the case.
Leadership apparently began to pressure forensics workers to stop trying to find DNA matches, and sought to avoid interviewing the hundreds of people with access to the space where the drugs were found.
And at some point, Cheatle reportedly demanded that agents destroy the evidence, then threw a hissy fit when her demands ran up against conscientious subordinates who pointed out a seven-year retention policy. (The Secret Service denies this happened.)
Kover-up Kim — who was far more focused on DEI nonsense than actually doing her job — also allegedly retaliated against a black veteran agent for daring to stand up to her on the drug destruction issue, passing him over for promotion.
The whole sordid affair raises a big question.
Why on Earth would the director of the Secret Service care at all whether a small bag of coke was destroyed or simply sat on a shelf somewhere?
Sounds like a case of aggressively not wanting to know whose it was.

Don’t ask me. Ask congress. Republicans control the House of Representatives. They have oversight authority of the Secret Service.
Congress should have referred the corrupt agents to the DOJ and charged with aiding and abetting.
Because there was a partial DNA hit on it. You know, ‘partial’ as in something like a ‘familial’ hit where the family member’s DNA you had (like Biden). My bet it was Hunter’s and Cheatle destroyed the evidence.
I think there was a cover up because if they followed the DNA trail people would ask more questions. Questions along the line of; Is someone being bribed by a cartel.
And taking it one step further, isn’t bribery one of the High Crimes and misdemeanors statue for treason when it touches the White House?
Well, duh.
Someone should take samples in the Arizona State Capitol.
Why is always a good question that deserves an answer. WE never get answers from this clown show.
What parents will do for their addicted children. If you have been there you understand. I will never vote for Biden or Harris, but I kinda have sympathy in this situation.
I beat there was a known drop off operation going on in the White House for many people of the administration.

While it is officially a Federal law enforcement agency, the US Secret Service is more like a Praetorian Guard tasked with protecting the Deep State.
They were treating it like a Republican crime and not a democRAT crime. Did they miss the training day where the two tiers were explained?

Yes; there was a “good partial” of DNA on it; they know whose it is/was. (I’ve started to watch Bongino’s podcast at 11 a.m. since he has friends on the inside and knows stuff.)
And I’m thinking that the coverup of the cocaine is probably one of the more benign actions — or lack thereof — the whole three-letter cabal has taken. It’s a case of “you don’t know what you don’t know”, and we don’t know s#!t.
That easily could be true.
And conservatives? We have allowed ourselves to be confined to obscurity since it's too much work to beat them at their own game.
