Traditional and iconic American brands have been doing some pretty bizarre and self destructive things that make no sense , lately.
But, when you look at the bigger picture and consider what China has been doing in the name of expanding its EV Industry, securing huge mineral resources via the Belt And Road Initiative and gaining control of American businesses, the ultimate end game becomes clear.
Here's how it and Net Zero all time together.
China is 100% in favor of the US self-destructing and are happy to help us destroy ourselves, whether it be through fentanyl, cultural rot, or “green” energy.
Chrysler would be doing ok if they didn't have to pay fines to Tesla for not making/selling the number of EVs that Washington has dictated.
There are reports that BYD the Chinese auto manufacturer is about to buy Chrysler from Stalantis.
Let’s pray that Trump wins the election and kills the electric car mandate.
Will SCOTUS’ reversal of the Chevron deference mean Congress will have to vote on an EV mandate?
I’m asking because IDK.
The link doesn’t match up to the title.
Chrysler has been self-destructing off and on since 1978.

Is Harley Davidson making electric bikes?
Bikes are actually very fuel efficient and Harleys used to be especially good in that area.
On the other had, I cannot imagine Harley carrying that huge load of batteries. And what about the Harley noise?
Is anybody ever going to ride such a bike?
That continued to, and through, the tv show "Sons of Anarchy." Now, baby boomers (the aforementioned target demographic) are getting too old to ride and Harley's high priced product just isn't selling well.
And HD bikes are to heavy and slow to appeal to the majority of younger riders.
You forgot offshoring and free trade which are the primary ways the USA is self destructiong.
I would think so, but IDK either

You nailed it. None of my friends that ride, ride HD we all ride rockets or naked sport an Yamaha R6 and a BMW enduro in my case. HD is so far behind in tech as to be a relic they only went to fuel injection in 2008. I have owned Yamahas’ , Kawasaki, and Honda. The whole 1%er biker persona is not all that resonate with affluent GenXr’s.
Bikes are not all that fuel efficient they have huge airdrag coefficients and comparable power to a mid-sized car. 120hp and 35mpg for R6 in 2020 form. I had a Toyota Corolla hybrid 23 on a two month contract recently it was returning 54mpg City and 48 mixed. Since I ride my R6 hard it hardly ever gets above 20mpg when you really get in its power band.
I sold new cars for a Chrysler dealer back in the 90’s. It’s amazing I ever made a living. Except for the new Ram truck in 1994, craftsmanship, parts, and service were horrible.
Your link is bad. It does not go to the report you are talking about.
