As many of you know, my family has some long political roots. My dad, J Eugene McAteer, was a San Francisco supervisor and state senator until his untimely death at age 51.

While I have nothing against now-Senator Harris as she is a good orator and has done some fine things while holding elective office, I believe, however, how she treats her staff is as important as an individual’s legislative accomplishments.
(snip)
Gregory was also given instructions to never address Harris nor look her in the eye as that privilege was only allowed to senior staff members.

I remember the ‘don’t look her in the eye’ stuff.
What in the world is that crap about?
“she is a good orator and has done some fine things”
Willie couldn’t have said it any better.
The rumors may be true.
All I know is she doesn't speak well in public.
FTA edited-——Then Senator Harris threw around “F-bombs” and other profanity constantly while berating her staff and others.
The staff was in complete fear of her......she used profanity throughout the workday.
As Cali Attorney General, Harris instructed her entire staff to stand every morning as she entered the office and say, “Good Morning General.”
Minor staff was also given instructions
<><>to never address Harris
<><>nor look her in the eye
<><>that privilege was only allowed to senior staff members.
This is not the workplace of someone who respects her staff. For a woman of color to demand employees stand when she enters the room smacks of a bygone era that we, as Americans, deplore and find demeaning.
Furthermore, she didn’t show the quality of leadership skills or even being a decent boss — much less “class” — is really troubling.
Finally, what is up with the “don’t look her in the eye” instruction? I know I wouldn’t want to work in that hostile environment!
Turds have many, many sides. But all of them smell like s***.
True. She has had a sterling career.
Like Joe she has been marking time for years just waiting for her chance to put the final touches on America. Now it would seem her ship has docked.
These two grifters were both in love, with evil and Satin!
Who knows? Perhaps with satin’s assistance and the army of vote harvesters she might pull it off and the speed with which she’ll bury this nation will amaze everyone.
Ouch. Kammie gets the knife from a fellow liberal pol.
I have only two words for the author: "Name One."
92% of her staff left while she was the VP.
And She Jack Lee was infamous for cursing and insulting her staff.
So it’s fitting that Harris should go to Houston and pay her respects to Lee.
“While I have nothing against now-Senator Harris as she is a good orator”
Really?
Reminds me of Hillary Clinton.
In his excellent book “Dereliction of Duty”, LTC “Buzz” Patterson talked about how she didn’t want to see anyone in a uniform, and in Gary Aldrich’s book “Unlimited Access : An FBI Agent Inside the Clinton White House” he talked about how people used to duck into offices when she approached. She didn’t want to see anyone, and she didn’t want anyone asking her questions.
With Leftists, this seems to be a modus operandi.

Cut Mr. McAteer a little bit slack. His family are machine Democrats. For him to throw in the bit about “fine things” is merely a rhetorical device to make the point that he’s not attacking Harris for partisan reasons. It took courage for him to have written this piece, calling out her bad character.
She’s got nothing to worry about. Worse case scenario she could go into porn and make a tidy sum for the novelty.
Same way Hillary Clinton used to treat people.
“Perhaps with satin’s assistance and the army of vote harvesters she might pull it off “
Horrors!!! I’d never put that in writing or even think it.
My uncle used to say, “Stay on the bright side, Negativity is contagious”.
RE: “she is a good orator and has done some fine things”
Willie couldn’t have said it any better.

He referred to her oral arguments or something like that.
I get what you are saying, but I couldn’t bring myself to buy into that.
I saw it as another foundational lie they build a huge edifice off of!
