Cary Grant's public persona was that of a charming, sophisticated, and just plain cool leading man. But in reality, "Cary Grant" was just another character he played on film. Even Cary Grant's name was a part of his well-crafted and carefully maintained image; fans who know about his personal life will tell you he was born Archibald Alexander Leach. A look at any Cary Grant biography reveals a troubled and conflicted man underneath that polished exterior.

That’s my favorite film of all time. But I am a huge Hitchcock fan.
LSD was seriously bring looked at for treatment of depression, and possibly other things decades ago. I assume studies went poorly...
JFK used to call Grant up on the phone so that he could listen to his voice.
“North by Northwest was his best role”
One of my favs!
So he did come up and see her more than sometime.
From the article, Chevy Chase is an unlikable person.
I keep laughing at that line. Not because it’s funny but because Chevy Chase is such a dick and that line personifies the guy’s scumbaginess.
They bought me a box of tin soldiers. Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.
I threw all the Generals away.
I smashed up the Sergeants and Majors.
Now I play with my Privates all day.
Chevy Chase is despised by everyone who has ever worked with him.
My now deceased sainted mother (1920-2011) once said of him
“It was a sin how handsome that man was”
Those actually are 18 weird facts about the dude.
My favorite is People Will Talk
I’m tired of people try to tear apart anything that’s old or established. I love CG I think he was one of the finest actors that ever lived and his films are pure gold. I refuse to participate in this destruction of MY culture and heritage so some silly sods can feel better about themselves.
In one of his movies he has a line like "the last person who talked to me like that was Archie Leach, a week before he killed himself."
He's also very good in Bringing up Baby and in The Philadelphia Story.
I’ll say it.
He was a pu$$y and too effeminate to play most male roles.
No mans man ever had any appreciation for him.
Wow! Thanks. I’ll soon turn 85.
Praise Jesus!
The "necking" scenes in Hitchcock's Notorious (1946) were infact notorious.
Cary and Ingrid---dynamite
He was a gorgeous man. I loved him in An Affair to Remember with Deborah Kerr. The song still brings me to tears.
That’s a very close third, so very different from his other roles. The interactions between him and Trevor Howard were highly entertaining. :)
Loved Trevor Howard. He carried am intellectual air about him. I would have named my son Trevor if I had one. I think the women would like it.
