Why am I not surprised?!
People pushed in front of onrushing subway engines. Old ladies surrounded and beaten on the way out of an ATM. Women joggers pulled into vans and gang raped. Tourists randomly slashed by madmen with machetes. Dozens of people shot each week.
But now.....
“We can be number one at something: spending on marijuana.”
——New Yorkers.
New Yorkers grow more Chiba than many other places.
Hot summers, plenty of water.
Shiiite grows like weeds.
New Yorkers spend more on weed?
Don’t blame them. If I lived in New York, I’d be stoned alla time.
All you gotta do is emerge from Penn Station or Grand Central and the aroma of smoked grass permeates all.
Surprised. I was recently in Michigan and the number of stores and the billboards, sometimes humorous, surprised me. Some of the stores were quite large. I also crossed into Canada. On the way back to the states a sign amused me. Weed is legal in both Ontario and Michigan. The sign pointed out you could face legal issues if you are found with weed at the border (fed controlled)
NYer’s … so much smarter than the rest. They don’t require weed to believe that delusional arrogance.
Everything costs more in New York City...
No big surprise. NY is like the anteroom to Hell. No wonder people are smoking their brains out.
Walking in New York City these days is like going to a Marshall Tucker concert in 1978
Like it doesn’t show Los Angeles nods.
Maybe that’s the problem in NY. Weed can make you crazy regardless of Leftist conventional wisdom and popular culture.
If that is a per capita calculation, they need to do the survey again and next time include San Francisco. One can get a contact hi on cannabis smoke by just walking down the street, any street.
Wait ... what?
That explains a lot.
Living in NYC you’d have to in order to survive mentally.
Is this per capita? If so I refuse to believe it. Kalifornia...Colorado...Oregon are the winners.
That explains what’s wrong with them.
Yeah, I think we can see that.
Hey, you’d smoke dope, too, if you had to live there. I lived there for 50+ years, and I would insist on being high if you made me go back!
