CHICAGO — A group of armed men is responsible for committing at least seven robberies and carjackings across the city since Memorial Day, according to Chicago police. Victims are being targeted as they exit their vehicles during late night and overnight hours, according to a CPD community alert.
Police said cars were taken from two victims, and the men “forcibly accompanied” one victim into the victim’s home. They took property from the residence.
The most recent crimes occurred in Uptown early on June 4:
Three armed men confronted a 62-year-old in the 900 block of West Sunnyside at 2:08 a.m., according to police. The crew displayed guns and demanded his property. After he complied, they pushed him to the ground and ran east on Sunnyside, according to the police spokesperson. A few minutes later, a 41-year-old man was robbed in the 1300 block of West Winona. He told police he was walking when three men walked up, and two displayed guns, a CPD spokesperson said. The unarmed robber took the victim’s property, and the crew fled in a white SUV.

I related this story before. A friend’s brother accepted a job in Chicago. The weekend before starting he was driving into the city. At the first stoplight, a car full of black men drove up next to him. They pointed guns at him. He turned around and went home. He called the company that Monday and said he wouldn’t be working there.
Imagine how much damage the lawlessness alone has done to Chicago’s businesses and therefore the city’s taxes.

I check in on CWBChicago about once a week and read the articles on the current crimes. Things are not getting better and crime is not decreasing no matter the lies the media tells you.
Many times those that are reportedly arrested were also arrested last month and the month before. They wear their ankle bracelets when committing crimes since they know there is little to no punishment. Stay out of the Windy City unless you want to get blown away.
Blue city? Dont care.
[shrug] It’s a free country.
People who want to rob and carjack people are just going to do that.
Anyone who tries to stop them will be arrested.

I think it was the Chicago Tribune that reserved the right front page column for crime stories continuing on into the front section with information on the crimes and the victims.
