Drink up Dems... a hell of a hangover's coming! MAUREEN CALLAHAN rages at Trump's guilty verdict travesty - and reveals why feckless, gloating liberals have just crowned our next president
Daily Mail ^ | 5/31/24 | Maureen Callahan

Trump lost. So has America.

Not that you would know it from most of yesterday's news coverage, so-called reporters and journalists practically levitating over 34 guilty verdicts in a trial that was nothing but a political hit job.

You can dislike Donald Trump, as I and so many others do, and still find yourself outraged.

This case — which the feds declined to prosecute — was falsely, flimsily predicated on 'election interference'.

Want to talk election interference? How about keeping the GOP nominee for president off the campaign trail for nearly two months? Or scheduling his sentencing just four days before the Republican convention?

To all the progressives who are gloating and cheering — well, live it up now, because you've probably just handed Trump another four years.

America is diminished by this. We are becoming smaller and pettier with no reversal in sight.

This is a loss beyond legality. It's hard to take pride in a nation that not only abides this but revels in it.

Not for nothing did Trump's website crash yesterday. Working people, struggling in this economy that Biden insists is gangbusters, are donating in outrage. Trump's campaign raised a mind-blowing $34.8 million within hours of the verdict.

His polling went up by six points according to a snap survey by DailyMail.com.

How's that for a Pyrrhic victory?

These are the people who turned out by the thousands for Trump, in the Bronx last week, who now see in him what they know all too well: Profiling and targeting by a crooked criminal justice system.

I don’t care if she dislikes Trump or not. She’s 100% on the money.
I don’t necessarily need to like someone to vote for them.

“I think these evil people in control are maneuvering to get Trump into jail to complete their plan. Think Epstein.”

Totally agree.

I don’t how how more people are realizing this is the democrats / marxists plan. Must make an immediate appeal to the Supreme Court

RINOS are only bad when they are stabbing you in the back, which seems to be all of the time. Otherwise they’re just a bunch of good ‘ol’ boys, if you’re into boys.

If Mary didn’t say “it’s because the Democrats have shown everybody that they are anti-America, anti-Constitution totalitarian thugs” then she didn’t reveal why at all.

What just happened and is happening is not an aberration for them at all it is their core mentality of governing.

Maybe you can loosen up your sphincter now and realize that there is no “Trump Cult.”

Supporting a man who wants to end gov. corruption and put America, meaning its people, first is in no way cultish behavior.

I agree with what you’re saying, but I do think this time it is different. Now that the primaries are past we are stuck with whoever the primary winner is. Then the question becomes what we do about a member of the R party who is not a good choice. Do we vote for them anyway?

In this particular year I say yes, and the reason I say that is because what we most desperately need is to get rid of the Deep State that is using its “six ways from Sunday at getting back at you”, surveillance, etc to corrupt any good guys we put in anyway. The first step has to be to get rid of the Deep State. To do that we need President Trump, we need an AG who will be serious (somebody like Ken Paxton or Kash Patel - or if they couldn’t be approved, somebody like Matt Whitaker as an interim who will shake the place up and then move on), and we need a R majority so the current committee chairs who have been investigating can hand the AG criminal referrals from Day 1. We have to have all 3 things if anything is going to happen.

I am not impressed with Mike Flood, the R Congressman who represents my district. But I would walk over broken glass to vote for him because that is the only way I can put Jim Jordan, James Comer, Barry Loudermilk, and Clay Higgins in the positions they need to be come Jan 20, 2025. If we can’t achieve that, all the crimes they’ve uncovered will be for naught.

We have to play this game very strategically. Things need to be done in the right order. The first step is to get Trump, an effective and lawful AG, and R House committee chairs all in place at the same time. Whatever it takes to do that, we need to do.

It’s the only way we can get ourselves out of this terrible mess of lawlessness we’re in.

In Walmart’s today, I was standing at the Hot Dog display looking for Angus beef hot dogs, which are delicious.
The lovely older woman, with beautiful long silver hair in a pony tail, standing beside me looked at me and said, she was looking for a replacement for the Hot Dogs she usually bought.

She said it was a Tyson product and was sorry that she would no longer buy it...she lowered her voice and whispered...”Tyson kills babies” and I agreed.

I was shocked to get this from an older person...I don’t know why.

But when I agreed with her she was very happy.

Made my day.

The question is will that corrupt judge sentence Trump to jail? The answer is he will do what will damage Trump’s candidacy the most. He is a corrupt man, this judge. I suspect putting Trump in jail will help Trump. I suspect this corrupt judge’s hatred of Trump will put him jail.

Trump will be the next President of the United States if they do not kill him. They are capable of this.

Who killed JFK? Oswald without doubt was in the book depository and fired shots. I am a good marksman. I doubt I could have made all those shots with a cheap Italian bolt action mail order rifle. Why did not Oswald choose an MI-Garand Model C with a scope. He was trained on the Garand. They were cheap back then on the used market. It is semiautomatic and a fine weapon. I firmly believe there were other shooters. I think Oswald was supposed to die quickly by another’s hand and thus be the patsy for the assassination. Something went wrong and I have no idea what it was.

Jack Ruby a Mafia man killed Oswald. Ruby was at the bottom class of the Mafia just running night clubs and all the associated crime with such. Why would this man kill Oswald? The Kennedy administration was at war with the Mafia. A mafia man then decides to kill the man that took out their adversary? This does not compute.

In a trial, Ruby was found guilty and sentenced to death. The conviction was appealed, and he was to be granted a new trial, but Ruby became ill, was diagnosed with cancer, and died of a pulmonary embolism on January 3, 1967. IS THAT NO CONVIENT? Jack Ruby knew he was a dead man before he killed Oswald.

Why in the hell have we not seen the results of the Warren Commission’s investigation on this 60 years later? I do understand their desire to cover up JFK’s personal life which was not nice. There is absolutely no reason to not release all else the Warren Commission found.

“You have more faith in spineless Republicans than I do.”

For my part, I’m not even thinking of them. Trump 2.0 will be measured, albeit in beast-mode. Measured from our perspective, and horrifying from the opposition’s view.

Civil war approaches.

We’re all better off to resolve this soft phase rather than the next. And while we’re all distracted by economics, elections and invasion, make sure you are looking after your own — your neighbor — posterity.

A dark cloud has gathered — put your face toward the wind and pay attention.

The most investigated man in the history of the world and all they can find is this flimsy garbage, and then they convict him on it on the testimony of a known perjurer? What a laugh... NY city democrats... You're stupid and you can go to hell.

Where's the portal? I'm ready to donate... Bigly.

Who would have thought that Maureen Callahan would be the one who expressed the travesty so succinctly? At the Daily Mail, no less.

J'Accuse...!

Before this is over, President Trump will become America's Alfred Dreyfus and take down the entire deep Democrat state that is persecuting this man just to hold onto their corruption of power.

"these evil people in control, are maneuvering to get Trump into jail to complete their plan."

The sentencing hearing, July 11, will be the optimum time to sentence Trump to a lengthy jail term. It will be four days before the start of the Republican National Convention. If Trump is jailed, it will be a terrible time for the Republicans to get a new candidate for President. They will need an emergency ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court.

>> It is not a Trump cult you buffoon

“cult” being a pointless pejorative

My parents (RIP) were interested in Trump’s message long before I paid much attention to him. Mark Levin expressed vitriolic contempt for Trump and his supporters in 2016. We all know that Trump was an anomaly, but eventually many, many of all stripes, “a beautiful many like you’ve never seen before” took DJT’s message to heart — a message from an outlier that had the vison, clout, and capacity to literally make America great again. To support such a revivification of a Constitutional America is not to be a member of a “cult”.

The RNC needs to do some quick thinking and move their convention up to beginning of July - even if it isn’t flashy and big, they can pull off a scaled-down but binding version. I believe there’s a petition out there to try and make that happen.
