SCOTUS must act to remain relevant

If the SCOTUS does not intercede in this abomination of a judicial process, why do the American people even need a SCOTUS? What role do they play in a post-America where justice is served at the whim of political activism? It seems to me that to preserve their relevance, SCOTUS must be heard!

So many legal rules have been openly broken here. Expecting it to now meticulously folow all of the standard rules and percolate through the NY state appeals process in order to eventually (maybe) make it to the Supreme Court in 5 or 6 years is ridiculous. The Supremes ought to swoop in and just end this farce.

Sure. No one denies that. The system will take its time. SCOTUS will hear this in 2026.

Trump’s lawyers need to bring it before the SCOTUS for them to act.

Of course the NY State higher courts could act as well. And unfortunately the SCOTUS may say they have to go through state courts first.

I agree and have been arguing the same action to be taken by the Supreme Court.

There should be a long line of parties ready to file a petition with the SC immediately.

Trump’s lawyers are busy. The men are at the golf course and the women are at the beauty salon.

Some of you FReepers crack me up. Do you really think your problems will be solved by lawyers arguing in a court?

After 2020, with blatant election fraud and the Supreme Court deciding that anyone who didn’t accept a stolen election “didn’t have standing”, who can now with a straight face say “the SC muist act or be irrelevant” ?

The fact that Chief Justice Roberts in essence told Rat Senators to go pound sand is a good sign.

The US Supreme Court won’t take this up now, it is not ripe for them. It will need to go through the steps. Now, maybe, if the judge throws him in jail, house arrest, or more, it will rise to them but I think they’ll wait. Didn’t they already reject the gag order?

Not I. I thinks all our problems will be solved at the voting booths.

(How’s that for cracking you up?)

It’s probably just me but I don’t remember every seeing this much hatred of the SCOTUS until there were three minority bimbos and refugees on it.

Yes they ought remedy this promptly but not instantly. To do it right the thing needs to reach them through the appeal process and all.

We don’t need a federal government either since it’s all staffed by a bunch of criminals, traitors and thugs.

IF SCOTUS does not take action before the ELECTION it will be too late the Nation will be under Marxist rule and the Court and Constitution will be history.

You don't understand what happened yesterday, which was an event unprecedented in America's 250-year history. Half of the country has been disenfranchised from the political process and you and Mitch McConnell still want business as usual, like its year 2000. None of this gets solved until there is a new political structure in place.

"..go through the steps.."

I disagree. You think the RATS in NY won't drag this out far beyond the Nov election?

With the election 6 MONTHS away, this is clearly a time-sensitive EMERGENCY. An emergency intervention by the SCROTUS is needed NOW, not AFTER the election!

Act NOW, SCROTUS!
