Using the Bing search engine, I attempted to download the RNC website (https://www.gop.com) on my desktop computer for and received the following message:
"The requested URL was rejected. Access Forbidden"
Then I tried the same with the Google Chrome browser and got the same message.
Next I used both browsers to see if could could access the DNC website (https://democrats.org) and, lo and behold, both search engines had no problem downloading this website to my computer.
What's is going on here?

The site is heavily loaded with Java Script so if you have any add blockers or JavaScript blockers then that might affect it. I just avoid sites that are loaded like that.

It is normal security. You have to access pages from links in other pages. If you try to type in a URL yourself that’s not being referred from another page on the site you get that message.

Attempted to access with Microsoft/Bing and was successful to get https:www.gov.org Did you select some filtering option with your system (such as child safety)?
Perhaps you should look into the internet provider (mine is comcast.net in Maryland) or filters implemented by your site.

Thanks for that info.

It’s simple. The democrats see as a potential supporter when you inquire. Republicans are stupid. I went to the San Diego convention in ‘96. I went online to see if they had room for contributors to attend the Milwaukee convention this summer. Not much info a/o 2 months ago. I won’t call them as Milwaukee is a shithole.

Why are you trying to “download” the web site. Can’t you just browse it like everyone else?
