Just venting here. Mods pull it if you deem so necessary. Just disappointed to see such a low turn out at my polling station. I was number 88 out of 986 and the theres only like 4 hours left. -Sorry. I'll st@u now.
Total 32 voted in my small town voting station in Alabama -— at 7:30 AM
I also was only one out of three people at our polling station.
Usually you go into the gym but this time they had the machines in the entry hall.
Guess they didn’t expect many people today.
It used to be that way here (Maryland) until Covid. We could always trust the people at the polling place but then, in the 2020 election, we didn’t recognize anyone. For the first time, they didn’t ask for and didn’t even want to see ID.
I’m right outside of DC, but people over in Western Maryland - much more Conservative area - noticed similar things happening.
I voted early in person at the registrar’s office. I don’t vote at the polling place any longer since my injuries and surgeries. I just don’t do crowds any more.
A lot of people vote after work.
Every state should follow Alabama examle.
People work.
I’m one up on you. I’m a double El-moron (local joke). I live in Township of Elmore in Elmore County...lol I was born and raised in town you live in as you know...
I am sitting this one out. You guys have fun.
“lot’s of grandkids who still say Sir and Ma’am”
Thank God that was never a custom where I grew up.
This is the result of blatantly stealing an election. A lot of people have given up, and for good reason.
hi! How are you!? I retired from AUM. Still at my place, teaching from home occasionally, living the good life!
Why? It’s just manners of a bygone era.
Okay... done! #138 at the courthouse at 5:50.
Climb Point DuHoc
I voted around 9:30 in Shelby County. Not crowded but a steady flow.
The local races sometimes are what creates the ability for liberals to gain a foothold in a community. I have been urging everyone I know to please take them seriously
I retired 5 yrs ago. Have obligations here in Elmore for 2 more yrs then moving to cousin’s farm in Loachapoka. I’m ready to go now, but can’t just yet...I’m doing well. Glad you are...
FYI probably half the people voted absentee. That wasn’t all the voters in your precinct.
