I have wanted an HK Mark 23 for 20 years. i just couldn't justify the price. Well i finally said screw it and bought it. I now have my dream gun.
It looks like a Colt 45 to me (I’m not a gun owner).
It is said to be highly reliable and accurate:

Nice, now you need the KAC suppressor, lol.
They allow a wide range of sighting choices, including wide range electronic training devices, some of which train using dry fire technology.
Very low cost of use, and very safe training for younger trainees.
25% isn’t bad. I can tur a Holland & Holland Royal into a Mossberg 500 in three trades. ;)
Not crazy about the cerakote, but I don’t have to sleep with it... I have a USP and love it, especially the ergonomics. HK makes nice guns.
Also, it’s customary to ping someone when you talk about them, so pinging HKMk23.
“You’ll shoot your eye out, kid.”
If you are a reloader, the 91 is brutal on brass. Use steel case rounds and throw the empties away.
I was just talking in another thread about a pic a friend sent of him and the 200# boar he took with a .25 caliber air rifle. The rifle looks about like what you describe, very futuristic looking.
FReepers are the Best...
At least they get into It!
it’s about that big too...
I also had many grail guns and 10 thousand rounds of ammo for them.
It was a dark day when I took my grail guns and the ammo to an island camp on a large lake, weather got bad, the boat swamped and sank, all my guns are gone, along with the ammo. I was lucky to swim the mile to the nearest shore.
My dream gun is a Thompson submachine gun from the 20s or early 30s. With a couple of 100 round drum magazines and an assortment of other magazines. I know I’ll never own one, but a guy can dream.
Run away! Run away!
My question is what is “watning”?
Ha ha.
Oh yeah...... well I fart in your general direction.
The best gun I ever bought was every last one.
The worst decision I have ever made, when selling a gun, is selling any one of them I have sold.
The only gun I still want is every single one not in my collection.
When I get settled in my new place, I plan on just that
Thanks ETCM for the courtesy ping.
Congratulations CMS! I wish you and your sweetheart enduring happiness. She can be a handful, but treat her well and she’ll never leave you cold.
That used to be on my list also, until I had the opportunity to shoot one. Nah, I’m good. It was clunky, the ergonomics were non-existent.
Glad I’ve shot one though, it convinced me that I don’t need to add one to the stable.
If money was no object, then I might have one for the nostalgic and convience for getting others to shoot, as it is very iconic.
