That makes sense. Paying the mortgage directly would not give him a tax deduction. I’m not being critical....he’s smart. Why would he give the same monetary donation and NOT get a tax deduction...that makes no sense.

I’ve tried making several times with copy cat recipes. Not close. I found another one that I’ll try. Started liking in probably 20+ years ago. My BF and his two kids loved it. He’d get the large family size for the four of us.

Crucifixion was not unique in the first century. It was the Roman method of Capital Punishment.
Crucifixion of innocent people was also not unique.
What is unique for we as Christians - this particular crucifixion that we remember on Good Friday was promised and necessary for the silver thread of prophecy to be fulfilled and for we as Christians to have the ultimate/final sacrifice.
There is a lot of theology and underlying symbolism in this act but the bottom line is that “it is finished” was a profound statement that we can only grasp loosely to understand.
Reflect my Christian friends.
Others may pick apart and mock your faith but we can be strong in our convictions and practices. People of God will never lose the war, perhaps the battle on occasion but the outcome is set in stone and sealed with blood.
