So far, so good. He’ll be back. He has persisted for 30 years. He’s not giving up.
Yes, when I’m home, I vote. BUT, I don’t go through the hassle of voting absentee. Alabama is a red state and the absentee vote is not of a sufficient total to affect the outcome. It is a challenge to vote absentee and so I don’t even try. It would not change the result at all.
FWIW, I vote red, too.

Scary situation, Jem. Has this strange person ever explained why he follows you guys around? Have police ever caught him and asked him? So weird.
Dolly, did you enjoy your licorice? I’ve run out, but I’m trying to not order from Amazon unless necessary. So far I’ve counted the yummy licorice as unnecessary. I don’t know how long that will last.

He wants money. He wants money to buy beer and betel nuts. It has pickled his brain and he is crazy. The police don’t want to deal with him and so far, we’ve been able to keep him in check ourselves.
If you start walking in a direction, the person/people talking with you will just follow along. So, this one time when we lived in a different place, he let himself into our yard and I went out to the driveway to confront him and make him leave. This was about 15 years ago or so. Anyway, a few sentences were exchanged and then, I just started moving slowly toward the gate. Before he realized what had happened, we had gone to the outside. I had manuevered him so that I was closest to the gate. As soon as we were outside, I popped back in, slipped the padlock on and clicked it.
He was so mad. I went inside.

When I suddenly disappear it may be I’m taking a “Judy Nap” but also might be my connection here is via my phone and ATT. ATT I’m pretty sure is a great service provider but this depends on where one is located. I’m rural boonies. Very few MW towers. I’ve called to have them check if towers are down. Sad fact when I need to check I can’t phone connect successfully
But never know I might have suddenly died….fact of life it’s coming for all of us
But last night I disappeared. Could not access FR FB, weather sites etc but was able to text messages. Mystery why that and nothing else But as fate would have it this time frame found quite a few folk catching up with texts. Like 6 at one time
