Hi Ladies.....
I heard a bit today about the rebuttal being a disaster. I saw a minute of it - it looked like something that was supposed to reach suburban women. I didn’t watch it all. I wondered who was responsible for selecting the person for the rebuttal, and who approved the content. Then it dawned on my it was likely the RNC, and could have been Ronna’s final failure before her magnificent parting.

The Gnadenhütten Massacre, (March 8, 1782), involved the murder of 96 Ohio Indians, mostly Delawares, by an American Revolutionary War officer, Captain David Williamson, and his militia at Gnadenhütten Village, south of what is now New Philadelphia, Ohio. The Indians, who had been converted by Moravian Brethren and were peaceful Christians, were under suspicion because of their neutrality in the war. Williamson and his 90 volunteers, seeking revenge for Indian raids on frontier settlements, pretended friendship and disarmed the tribe; on the following morning they slaughtered the villagers in cold blood. Two scalped boys escaped to relate the incident. A 9-acre memorial now marks the site of what has been called the greatest atrocity of that war.
Note that the atrocity was easily executed once the peaceful Indians had surrendered their arms. An armed populace may lose a battle or an even eventually a war, but led to the slaughter like sheep they will never be.

She was a bit whiny . So, I don’t know,some woman would like it I guess.

Mixed feelings about this we as British colonists came to America and actually were invaders to Indian property just like people are crossing our borders now and invaders
the difference being there was no official ownership of America when we came so we felt it was up for grabs.
but we did some atrocious things to the Indians and in turn they did atrocious things to us. I don’t know if we’ll ever know the full history of the wrongs that were on both sides but there definitely were wrongs
if reparations are due for anyone it’s for the Indians not the blacks or the Irish who were the first to be brought in as slaves
I don’t know about your ancestors, but when my ancestor came over from Essex, England in 1634, he was fleeing from the wrath of the King. He also paid $100 to those who claimed to own the land f up there in New England.

When I say we as British colonists I’m using a general widespread national term not specific to my family
My family came from Slovakia in the late 1800s and early 1900s - through Ellis island and settled in Michigan originally then moved to Spencer Ohio where they raised their seven children on my dad side and on my mother’s side the seven children were raised in the Cleveland area

My 7th great-grandfather born in 1629 came from Norwich, Norfolk, England.
He died in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America in 1700.
I have yet to view the SOTU , GOP rebut; Tuckers comments; Pres Trumps fact check commentary, and any one else who chimed in. Not ignoring -will watch eventually- but just doing what phone permits.
From what I’ve gathered from commentary. Byedon did not trip or fall on way to speaker platform or freeze/stop talking..lost in a daze. Meaning the left can “proudly” try to re-elect him. He was talking fast helping to surmise what was in his pre-speech “prop-him-up” cocktail . He didn’t give a state of union as much as a campaign speech. He was belligerent and presented lie after lie; error after error. The young Alabama GOP woman was gentle and pleasant . Guess that surprised many as most of the well known top gals in GOP are forceful, aggressive and loud. I’ve read mixed reviews on her content. Trump’s idea was good in planning. Failure in reality. I never really understood what was the plan. Tuckers comments will be worth the time.
