Former President Trump urged his followers to give Anheuser-Busch a “second chance” after months of criticism the company has faced from conservatives.
“The Bud Light ad was a mistake of epic proportions,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social website Tuesday, referencing a brief partnership the company had with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney that has cost it billions in market value.
“Anheuser-Busch is not a Woke company,” the former president said, adding “I can give you plenty that are, am building a list, and might just release it for the World to see.”
“Anheuser-Busch is a Great American Brand that perhaps deserves a Second Chance,” Trump continued, defending the global beverage company. “What do you think? Perhaps, instead, we should be going after those companies that are looking to DESTROY AMERICA!”
Last summer, Trump joined a chorus of conservative critics, blasting Anheuser-Busch as he promoted the “The Great Patriot Protest and Boycott” book, which celebrates mainstream companies boycotted by conservatives.
“It’s time to beat the Radical Left at their own game,” Trump said at the time. “Money does talk—Anheuser-Busch now understands that.”
I can’t recall exactly, but one of his sons tried to stand up for Bud early in the boycott.
If he gets them to dump a metric crap ton of money on the election campaign, I’m fine with it.
Sometime you have to allow yourself a chance to win.
No - I’m allergic to something in that product it doesn’t matter anymore

What non college student drinks that piss water?
I’d drink a 40 of Olde English before Bud Light.
At least malt liquor has some taste.
Not the Bee ?
Ditto. MANY years ago, when they came out with it, I tried one.
That was the first and last Bud Light I have ever had.
Horrible stuff. Who drinks that Clydesdale piss anyway?
Quality over quantity, good ale.
To stop us from importing beer from Mexico.
Uh, if AB went woke with the Dylan campaign, they care little about conservative America. I doubt the money sent to Trump would matter much, other than for Trump to offset some of his legal costs.
Conservatives don’t usually walk around expecting apologies - but this is the exception.
We’re not interesting in companies backing the sexual kinks of ANY GROUP. Ours or their or anyone’s. Apologize Bud Light. Sell the beer. Not the kink. Say you’re sorry and move on. We will too.
Then, we’ll start coming back... or not. Because it’s been a long time. Too long.
1. I don’t drink beer
2. If I did drink beer, it sure wouldn’t be that horse-filtered swill
3. I disagree with Trump on this one. But it’s his prerogative to be wrong, and no man is perfect.
4. I still respect the man.
5. Most importantly, he’s still got my vote.
Principles are nice to have as well.
He’s been doing well, lately.
This is not the correct battle for him.
Yet more proof he’s not a tyrant or an autocrat.
Yet more proof he’s not a tyrant or an autocrat.
You have a nice day now.
The Trump is mighty ad shall prevail!
Quiet you.
The Trump is mighty ad shall prevail!
The Trump is mighty ad shall prevail!
Few of the conservative spokespeople have those when it comes to Bud Light. They just jumped on the bandwagon to kick them it was fun to do. Kid Rock would be an example of that. Back in December he said he was done boycotting it.
Trump is just pandering to a specific group its all good its what Trump does.
