This happens on almost every article now. Wasn't always this way. I can get trashed as a conservative now just about anywhere I go. I don't need to get it on FR.
Especially after having to deal with out-of-town relatives on my wife's side visiting us. Who have clearly been completely suborned by the woke left. Big shock.
My wife doesn't want to accept that fact. These people even stopped celebrating Christmas. However, when she offered them The Epoch Times to read, the response she got was: "Oh, is this that RIGHT-WING rag"?
That was her son talking. Her own son. My stepson. Very successful young man with an adoring second wife. Ex-military he is. His son is also ex-military who now works for a large federal agency. But "resettles migrants" in his spare time.
They are breaking up families, it's part of the plan.
I'm convinced. It's happening as we speak. There'll be no forums left anywhere for any kind of dissent from the new orthodoxy.

I was appalled watching "Face The Nation" today...more than usual...as Margaret Brennan was strictly one-note with three widely variant guests. For her it was all about the right to abort babies and that's her 'litmus test' for candidates.
I know she gets her marching orders from the DNC each week (I watch this show to get their memo to their media) but that's ridiculously shallow of them to try to make ANY single issue a winning one when the country is being dragged to hell by their preferred party every other way, too.
Count me in on this topic. I have invited several to lunch and not a one has taken me up on it.

Re: 134 - it’s always good to strive for excellence. President Trumps is a big believer in that.
President Trump is going to be the nominee. The primary season will be effectively over in 1-2 weeks max.
Every candidate for President has positions or things about them that rankle. It’s life. What matters is learning from experience.
To me, it’s absolutely critical that Republicans keep
the House and take the Senate. Without those victories, it will be very challenging to enact legislation for President Trump. You can’t EO judicial
nominees or cabinet members. Recess appointments only go so far.
I’m not sick and tired of it. Mostly I’m amused.
They are wasting their time trying to influence us to see their point of view, which is fine. Better that they spend time and effort on us than influencing people who might be weaker who could be influenced.
Like my mom (preacher’s wife) who would invite JWs into the house and spend hours acting all interested. She said it was better that they wasted their time on her than on someone who might be convinced.
Then there are the threads that mention DIVORCE, and again, several males here are innocent angels, did nothing whatsoever to deserve it, their wives were monsters, they shouldn't have to give what they work for to support the children, all women are evil, etc etc. While I know very well that it is true of more divorces than ever, the same thing and worse can and does also happen to divorced women. They wanted the no-commitment sex, and then this happened. It's not logical to hate the entire opposite sex because of what turns out to be one's own poor choices.
The nasty invective on this forum took a turn for the worse in early November, 2022.
100%. Those are skills I had to learn as a woman in the corporate consulting arena. Shoot off your opinion without solid citations if needed, lose a client.
I think some of it is generational. I was appalled at the snark the younger members of our family engaged in who grew up with social media. There is a widespread lack of basic respect, reasonably good manners and protocol.

My children are in middle school. Nearly all their friends have divorced parents with the fathers being nowhere in the picture. Mothers usually work two jobs. Then of the ones that are still married, the father refuses to work, usually playing video games all day while the wife works. Of these families there is usually sexual abuse involved or drug taking. Pornography has decimated males in this country, reducing manhood into nothing more than wanking off to images on a phone all day.
What an idiotic question. Truly. How conservative do you have to be to rationalize that it would be better to lose this coming election because of your purity?

That is true. My daughter (49) has a disrespectful mouth, even though she was raised better, that would have earned me a whipping when I was a kid. She is a conservative. There is no accountability online with anonymity.
