They should keep doing what they are doing.
Iβll bet sheβs fugly too!
Only the originals are ever any good. Remakes/sequels/part 2’s always suck compared to original.

Well, there was Aliens.

At least they had Randolph Scott.
1993 here for one of the last Pink Panther movies. No theaters ever more.
The only good Star wars films are the ones in which Carrie Fisher is still hot.
I’ve said this before, and I will say it again...
Any business plan that automatically alienates half of your potential customer base is doomed to failure.
This deeply insecure woman is going to be a nightmare on the set and with the CGI team. Aside from that, she’s a Documentary producer, well out of her league. Someone will eat her alive...or kill her out of frustration. I’ve seen this before, as a Producer.
She can accomplish that with a simple photo.
You have me beat by a few years. I went to see Independence Day in a theater in 1996 when it first came out. No more theaters for me either.
Disney under Kathleen Kennedy’s guidance has destroyed three, count them three stories franchises.
Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and the Marvel stories have either underperformed or ranked completely.

But if Disney wants to hand over helming of a probably $200 million film to a man-hating Pakistani whose experience with Pakistani men has warped her, and who is openly alienating half of her potential audience while in preproduction, that is their business.
Same here. Never going back.
Of course that will be due to sexism and misogyny.
