Frightening footage shows the moment a 67-year-old man was brutally accosted in a Houston parking lot after getting confused and mistaking his attackers' car for his daughter's.
The victim attacked in the clip has since been identified as Florentino Hurtado, who relatives said was diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's two years ago.
The men seen carrying out the beating - which happened Saturday outside a local meat market - are believed to be Trayvion Lockridge and Derodric Stephens, who are both in police custody following the assault.
The pair - allegedly seen bombarding the senior with blows before stomping him to the ground - are being held on charges of aggravated robbery of a victim over the age of 65.
The state first asked Lockridge's bond be set at $1million, but the defense countered with a request for $3,000. The amount, in turn, was set to $50,000, after cops aired their belief Lockridge punched Hurtado eight times and stomped him at least four.

Stephens' bond, meanwhile, has not been set, as prosecutors said he has five pending cases in addition to the new charge. The allegation, more serious than regular aggravated robbery, carries a max penalty of 99 years in prison.
As Hurtado recovers from a broken cheekbone, numerous cuts that required stitches, and a possible traumatic brain injury, his daughter Jessica on Thursday described how she believes the attack transpired.
'My dad, you can see him stumble up and get up, and you could tell he was obviously confused and dazed as well, and he started wandering towards the pawnshop,' Jessica told KTRK, narrating the now widely seen security clip.

Tie these animals to a tree in the woods, cover them with honey and let Boo Boo and Yogi get them. If they don't, Sasquatch will
let’s see...Trayvion Lockridge and Derodric Stephens...hmmmm...any guesseses from names like that and the level of brutality?
Only one presumptive guess.
Of course...blacks again...
Ferals I suspect
Didn’t need to see the names to know…”head stomp” is all that it took.
I got into the wrong car once. Identical to wife’s. Broad daylight. Sober. Key fob opened it but wouldn’t start it. That’s when I realized error. Any potential stompers would have been DRT.
How is a 67-year-old a threat to 1 , let alone 2, youts? How would talking to the guy for a minute or two have hurt? What, he was going to whip both of them at the same time? Please, these guys escalated because they WANTED to hurt someone different from them. So they attacked an old guy incapable of defending himself, and gave him serious injuries - throw away the key, society will benefit immensely.
Keep posting that pic every time because the more they do stupid shit the more Scott is vindicated.
ping for my comment on the uK website.....
I agree. Could they not tell he was just confused and had the wrong car? They are just thugs. Lock them up forever. Animals belong in a cage.
I was on a business trip along with several VPs from our Fortune 500 company. One of the VPs came out of the hotel room, got in his rental car and drove off.
It wasn’t his car. Some family had their belongings in the trunk. The police pulled him over. He told them what he did. They drove back to the hotel and verified his keys matched an identical car in the parking lot.
We never let him live that down. A car thief running our company.
The problem is language. They may be homo-sapiens physiologically, but they’re not ‘people’.
We should bring back hangings
And nobody stepped in to help this poor man. SMH.
Scaphism.
At least they showed some compassion and didn’t back the car over him after the brutal beating.

Very rare but it does happen!!!
True story I had a Ford Escort once. The driver’s side door was damaged in a hit and run while I had it parked in a parking lot. I found a new door in a auto grave yard. Not only same color but when I put my key in the wrecked car door and IT MATCHED. A friend of mine who did body work said in all his days he never saw that happen.
My wife came out of the gym a few days ago and was walking up to her car. She pressed the remote to unlock it and a strange woman climbed right into the driver’s seat. My wife tapped on the window and said “Excuse me, that’s my car.” The woman looked around the interior and found out she had gotten into the wrong car. Her car was behind my wife’s car and it was the identical model, year, color, and interior.
They both had a good laugh about it and my wife was laughing about it when she got home.
Nobody stomped anybody, but, then again, the persons described by Scott Adams are in short supply here in North Idaho.
