Georgia congresswoman has been targeted multiple times by prank calls, has a security detail.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene reported her home was “swatted” Monday on Christmas with a fake emergency call, as she praised police for their professionalism as they responded to the latest in dangerous pranks targeting the Georgia Republican.
“I was just swatted. This is like the 8th time. On Christmas with my family here. My local police are the GREATEST and shouldn’t have to deal with this,” she wrote on the X social media platform.
A spokesperson for the Rome, Ga., police told The Hill that multiple calls were made through a crisis hotline in both Rome, N.Y., and Rome, Ga., requesting emergency services to Greene’s home.
“While en route to the address, personnel with the Rome (GA) Police Department coordinated with Greene’s security detail to ensure her safety as well as determine that there was in fact no emergency at the address,” the spokesperson said.
This is a favorite tactic of the left, making a call to police, often claiming that an active shooting is in progress, to get the SWAT team, with guns drawn, dispatched to a conservative’s house. They have also done multiple SWAT calls on reporter Jack Posobiec (Senior Editor, Human Events), Jack Posobiec’s parents and reporter Tim Pool (CEO,Timcastnews). There are probably many more.
I bet this harassment of an elected Federal office is a Federal crime. I also bet the only thing the FBI will do is laugh at her misfortune.
Thi is what happens when FBI and CIA are captured organs of the left.
Sounds like an over reaction by the police. Alot of these idiots just can’t wait to show up guns drawn chest puffed out, high on the thrill, ready to shoot someone.
That is what the hoax callers hope will happen. In MTGs case the police are used to it and call her protection detail to make sure it is a hoax. They still have to show up.

PRANK CALLS are juvenile jokes, like Bart Simpson pulls on Moe, SWATing is no prank. The caller is hoping that someone gets shot. This activity should be treated as Assault with a Deadly Weapon, including prison time for the perpetrator. Sadly after eight times, there appears to be no consequences.

They can’t trace the call ???
If the perp is of the far left persuasion there most likely will be no consequence.History repeats itself.
All federal resources are busy tracing people who criticided the Covid and election steal.
More than likely a “burner” phone....
Life in prison at a maximum security pen with no parole.
Hard labor.
No family visits, solitary confinement.
They can track them down.
Could be unregistered "burner phones" or internet calls made through a VPN.
A waste of resources.
Seeing it was local cops responding.
They could if they WANTED to.
