That’s basically a rhetorical question because everyone knows the answer.
Local LE doesn’t have the ability to trackdown swatters, because of the technlogies they use.
Actually, attempted murder is the more appropriate charge.
This happens with the blessing of the FBI. We know that the NSA tracks all Americans with every phone call and text message.
First of all, by admission, the phone calls are traced to point of origin, written in this article, Rome NY and Rome GA. It’s laughable to think that the perpetrators cannot be found, given voice recognition and phone GPS data, even if the call isn’t made from a cell phone, usually the perps have their personal phones with them at all times. It should be very trivial to find these people and prosecute, but it’s (D)ifferent for certain victims.

They have done it to Roger Stone, people who appeared at school board meetings, Rick Scott, Brandon Williams (R-NY) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA)...
Calls were made to police in both locations.
