While it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, several Hollywood celebrities have revealed in the past how much they hate the holiday season.
Some are tired of the many traditions. For Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus, however, it’s the fact that being single can put a damper on what would otherwise be a jolly celebration.
In fact, Cyrus, 31, wrote the 2019 track “My Sad Christmas Song” to get her point across. Other stars simply would rather be thankful for what they already have instead of promoting consumerism

I’ve never had a good Christmas, but I don’t hate it. I do like the bright colours and classic Christmas carols are amongst the finest pieces of music ever written.
I appreciate Christmas for that.
Big surprise, they sold their souls to Satan decades ago.
I used to love Christmas as a very young child, but our family was volatile and by the time I was 6 or 7 I started getting depressed and Christmas wasn’t the same. As an adult I love Christmas conceptually, but am never ready for it. I would prefer an extended period of reflection and renewal around Christmas, with the birthday of Christ in the middle - not the end of this period.
Now when I think of Christmas, I think of that insipid Mariah Carey Song.
I’ve managed to avoid hearing it even once, this Christmas Season. But it’s not easy to do.
Miley’s got daddy issues. Billy Ray is a punk. Impregnated two women in ‘92, married to neither. One child was Miley, he eventually married her mother, who finally unloaded him in 2022. Just picked up his third wife in October.
I love Christmas because my dad loved it.

Oy! Larry David? You’re telling me that Larry David doesn’t like Christmas?? Oy Gevalt! You should kill me now with such cynicism! What is he going to celebrate? An aluminum pole maybe?
When I was in the Navy, I had duty every Christmas.
With all the commercialism for the past decades (my folks brought all that up) it’s more like Santamas than Christmas.
And someday, he’ll collect on the deals they made.
I hate what Christmas has become.
I’d like Norman Rockwell Christmas.
Christmas when it’s focused on Christ is wonderful.
Ditto - especially when it starts showing up before Thanksgiving. It’s all merchandising, sell, sell sell. Santamas.

I was 100% certain that along with Larry David, that Seth Rogan and Sarah Silverman would be on this list. I don’t have an anti semitic bone in my body, just stating facts. Most Hollywood Jews seem to despise. the idea of Christ.
