Today's Morning Joe dropped a MOAB—Mother of All Bombshells. And yet it caused hardly a ripple on the set.
NBC News correspondent Vaughn Hillyard blithely reported this:
"If the Supreme Court were to affirm the Colorado Supreme Court's decision, and disqualify Donald Trump from the ballot in Colorado, that'll have a far-reaching impact, likely removing him from the ballot in all 50 states.
"And of course, the concern of the Republican Party is the potential nullification of Republican electorates' votes as they're selecting their presidential nominee."
Wait a second! The concern about nullifying the votes of millions of Americans would be limited to the Republican Party? It wouldn't bother Americans at large, and specifically, the liberal media and the Democrats? You know, the people who are supposedly so concerned about existential threats to democracy?

I predict that Joe Scarborough will be off TV totally within two years.
Gosh, that means Joe will be off tv in “all 50 states.”
What a coincidence.
So here's the problem for the Democrats who as always tell a BIG LIE instead of the truth:
Amendment 14, Section 3 which the CO case rests on, was repealed by Congress in 1898 and signed by then President McKinley.
Every state considering filing simiilar suit is going to FAIL in Appellate or USSC if that's what it takes. There are no grounds to remove Trump from ballot in any state because the entire case is based on a false premise and cites a part of the Constitution that no longer exists or is in force. Democrats in US House tried same tactic AND FAILED in 2022 for this very reason. They're doing this as a STUNT to stir up the Democrat party crazies and they know it. It's never about truth with Democrats, it's always about telling the big lie!

I have no idea how they could bypass it logically but maybe there’s a get outta jail clause there.
Maybe you could expand on that?!
Hey Laz, see above.
They will.
Samour’s dissent was clear and succinct.
They could just say it’s a state issue and they have no authority to void it. Thus, you could get different results from different states depending on the trial court ruling.
I'd suggest that Civil War II has been ongoing since 2007. Eliminating Trump would escalate it from a cold war to a hot (or at least a tepid) war.
Most of the food, energy, electricity and even the water that supplies the blue cities comes from places that voted for Trump.
Skills aren't evenly distributed across the political spectrum, either.
I don't doubt that the same people who think that men can get pregnant are confident of winning Civil War II.
Not sure what Joe's 'rats plan to eat after he nukes those useless corn fields.
Politics is a dirty business.
If Co law hold. Write in votes for Trump will not be counted!
Did Joe have his hand in his pants doin a Toobin at the time?

Well the suit was brought under a clause in the Federal Constitution. How does that end up being a state issue only?
Will remain to be seen what they do to try to extricate themselves. Undoubtedly Roberts will slither away on any technicality rather then help Trump.
Bears Repeating:
Samour’s dissent was clear and succinct.
Agree. I don’t believe any state court has jurisdiction to litigate this matter.
I can do whatever I want in protest.
Elected by write-in, that will be fun!
“Colorado said you can’t write them in either.”
You can’t stop people from writing in anyone, even Mickey Mouse. You can disallow the write-in votes. At. Your. Peril.
Technically there are a series of electors on the ballots.
i would post an appropriate meme
but that site is down
for ‘ some’ ( censorship) reason
