You’ll put yer eye out, kid!
We have a Gamo Varminter. Its like a .22 with the raptor promote but only a single shot. The Crossman sounds interesting.
Chewed electric wires in walls and outside. Fruit tree crops ruined. Tomatoes ruined. Walls filled with acorns, pecans, and pine cones.
The Ruger is accurate to about 75 feet. Tinned steel pellets. My only regret is that it's center breach break to load each pellet. If you missed on your first shot, you won't get a chance for a second.
When I was a youngster I had a Crosman 760... Loved it! It was from maybe 1985.
I have owned a few, and my kids have ‘em, too now.
“Crosman.”
I am not as fond of today’s quality... Or accuracy...
They’re not so much fun as they were.
But maybe it is just that my air rifle is gone, those dreams are gone,
our old farm was sold long ago
and I am not so fond of my own quality or accuracy
and nothing is as much fun as it was.
I keep a couple small BB guns around to teach the grandchildren gun safety and murder a few empty water bottles.
Nope. Due to accuracy issues, I have since evolved from break barrel pellet rifles to PCP's......
Costly, yes, but now I wouldn't have any other air rifle....
See my home page for my current favorite.
I purchased several Umarex CO2 pistols to match several pistols I already own for plinking. They are replicas that have similar weight and feel of the original. Much cheaper to shoot and a lot of fun.
Walmart sells the CO2 cartridges cheaper than anywhere else.
Most people would be amazed at what is available in air guns.
Just be careful. You didn’t mention where in the ‘burbs you live, but some neighbors (and regulations) might object.
Also, adding orange to it somewhere might keep you from mistakenly getting shot by police.
Have fun!😉👍
I like that Crosman stayed authentic with the safety/selector Operation - the AK1 is a lot like the airsoft replicas in that regard. Looks like it has more velocity and accuracy than my M-19A Annihilator ever did. :-)
Apparently it's powered by typical 2 CO2 cartridges. There's very little air in the two cartridges it requires so you will likely have to replace them after one or two full magazines.
My advice? Yea, it's full auto and that's pretty cool. But the reality is that it's just throw away money on junk.........
My girl... .177/.22 combo.

Good night squirrels.
Man, that thing is hideous. Probably fun, but not much of a looker IMO.
Think I just found my Christmas present! Kind of like the AR version better. They have aftermarket drum mags for the AK version...gotta check if that will also fit the AR version.
I have a Benjamin pellet rifle. Very accurate. 9 or 10 pumps and you’re good to go. Had it for over forty years.
I have a Crossman pump up BB gun that accept.177 pellets. Six pumps with a BB will keep the various little beasts out of the garden, ten with a pellet will drop them.
I also have a Daisy Winchester 94 look alike that is just a a childhood relic. It works just fine.
Is it (1) accurate and (2) powerful enough to take out a squirrel at, say, 25 feet.
