In a recent article I pointed out that the conflict in Israel is very important, but it’s a distraction from another major goal: an attack against the United States that would make 9/11 pale in comparison. Remember, Israel is the “Little Satan” but the U.S. is the “Great Satan.”
Jean DuBois makes a similar point.
Though the world now rightly focuses on Israel, the world’s sole Jewish state is largely irrelevant as regards the real threat to world peace: militant Islam. If you really want to address root causes, then look no further. Israel and the Jews are but a convenient distraction, a red herring, just the canary in the coal mine.
Sadly, but tellingly, and putting Israel aside, the vast majority of armed conflicts on our globe involve militant Islam on at least one side of the conflict.
Israel’s campaign against Hamas is going better than expected (and here), which may force the Islamists to advance their timeline. The terrorists’ commanders flee the battlefield while their top leaders live like kings in Qatar. Previously I noted this:
One common thread among all terrorists is that they are cowards. They are quite brave when beating and killing defenseless women and children, but they run screaming when confronted by a real military. I’ll bet those busloads of women and children trying to exit Gaza are filled with former terrorists sporting ladies’ dresses and full makeup.
Reports that claim Hamas uses their own civilians as human shields and places military installations in schools, mosques, and hospitals have been confirmed consistently. As cowards, these terrorists are quite willing to kill great numbers of innocent civilians through any means possible, in Israel—or the United States.

We/ve suffered terrorism well over a century and a half. With a significant increase the last few years from groups like antifa (German communist militia) and homegrown BLM. Now palestinian adherents have joined the game. I'm hard pressed to think of many right wing incidents, it's all from the left. Related threads

When the terrorist attacks do begin here in the US, I will be laying the blame on our own government, and I Guarantee you that multiple high pollutant quislings in our own Government will have had Advanced Knowledge of any attacks.

I'm going off topic, but I wish the US had a tricameral legislature:
House of Representative -- representing the People, elected by popular election within the states, with voters within designated City States excluded from voting.
Senate -- representing the States, chosen by State Legislators (abolish the 17th Amendment).
New Body -- representing the City States, elected by residents of the designated City States.
Basically -- residents of NYC, Philadelphia, Chicago, Baltimore, San Francisco, etc. should have very limited political power. They can have some power, but not much. The people who live in the hinterlands of Pennsylvania or Illinois should have significant power in Washington. The cities should be mostly on their own, and should be allowed to wither. We don't need cities so much in the 21st century. They only serve to warehouse ferals. City populations should disperse themselves and learn to live like real humans.

I’m familiar with both. I’ve worked proximate to them for over 20 years.
However ‘bad’ Deep State is it is not even in the same galaxy as Islamist terrorists.
This is a typical pre-ISIS Islamist terror attack tactic from the Iraq insurgency:
A large (usually Sunni) family function is held such as a wedding, funeral, holiday celebration, etc. AIQ (nee ISIS) learns of it an crashes the event venue. Say there are 200 people from several dozen families. AIQ orders them to turn in their phones and group-up by family. AIQ then executes one or more members of each family, summarily, in front of the gathered families.
Each family is held at bay by one or more terrorists holding AKs, RPDs, etc. pointed towards them. Once the shock has set in the terrorists explain that they will all be killed shortly unless 3 volunteers step forward -a man, a woman and child. Three step forward. They are instructed that a vehicle is parked outside which must be driven to a specific location whereupon the driver will depress the detonator. They are given a short time to accomplish the this. If they are successful the families will be released. If not they are all killed. The bombers are sent on their way to detonate their VBIED at the objective usually a checkpoint, market, convoy, mosque, etc. The terrorists keep their word.
Hundreds of such attacks occurred in Iraq during the insurgency. ISIS continued the practice. Families scattered when ISIS came into town to protect against the entire family being killed. Yeah, that’s about it. Morally equivalent to Deep State?

Of course they will blame the US. If we would just allow the terrorists to peacefully murder innocent civilians all over the world, they wouldn’t attack us.
Who would benefit from a terrorist attack on US soil at this time?
Iran? They just said they were not going to get involved in Hamas’ problem. They know an attack on the US would result in a bombing that would ruin their only revenue producing infrastructure. They want no part of that.
Russia? They have their hands full. And it would lead to an immediate funding of Ukraine.
China? We are their largest trading partner and their economy is in the tank. They aren’t going to do that right after a meeting with us.
Palestine? Our response would be to unleash Israel and hit them with more air attacks...plus it would cut their funding.
At this time, no one would benefit from an organized terrorist attack on the US.
Yes, the open borders are a problem. But that problem is more related to the Cartels than it is to islamic terrorism.

SO, you perceive that the October 7th attack was totally the result of incompetence, laziness and complacency?
Israel was warned by Egypt. This information was made public. If we know about it, what other warnings were received by Israel that either they chose to NOT act on or did not because of complacency.
