Seems a simple nasal spray should break up the formation of those bad germs.

In the stage where we didn’t know much about COVID early on, I experimented with a nasal lavage using Betadine, just to see if I could use it if needed. (around mid-March 2020, IIRC)

You squirt it up both nostrils with a refillable nasal sprayer, let it drain back into your throat, and then spit it out. Tastes and smells a bit nasty, but this kind of thing is done and is safe...as long as you dilute it enough!

I could do it, but right around that time, we learned more about COVID, and I deduced it wasn’t worth the hassle.

I figure if a really bad one comes out of Communist China (or our own country) that really WILL kill us, it might be worth trying.

It will turn out that covid was the most treatable virus known to man yet we told everyone to do nothing and let viral replication to go unhindered or unchecked.

All in order to steal an election and make money. The question is was the Vax part of the plan or just a convenient scam.

Interesting that Pfizer stock price is at pre-covid Vax approval levels. EPS isn’t sky high. Dec 2021 was the high mark. Same with moderna. Might think investors might be getting out while it’s good.

The FDA will need to remove salt from the grocery stores now.

yes. this is true (i just use antiseptic mouth wash and povidone iodone dilute, but it’s the same idea). and what people did for years before they got medically dumb and sloppy with hygiene on so called ‘scientific’ advice from ‘experts,’ on jabs, masks, and medical insurance.

Just take 5000units of D3 and a Zicam daily and you won’t get Covid.

Works for any sore throat or sinus trouble.

And I learned this from my mother who learned it from hers and so forth. Fairly sure when we were sitting in caves by the sea Jane told her daughter to go gargle sea water to make her throat feel better.

(PS gargling with aspirin (non-coated) helps with the pain)

“Seems a simple nasal spray should break up the formation of those bad germs.”

If you’re talking about covid, it isn’t a germ, it’s a virus and has no known medication to stop it. It does form and expand in the sinus and throat, but the continual use of nasal sprays and saline can damage the tissue in the sinuses.

Nasal spray addiction is not a true “addiction,” but it can lead to tissue damage inside the nose. This can result in swelling and long-term stuffiness that leads to further use and overuse of the spray. In some cases, a person may need to undergo additional treatment, and possibly surgery, to correct any damage. Overuse is common. In 2014, researchers found that out of 895 participants with nasal congestion, half of them overused their medication. So salt and nasal sprays can lead to more problems.

Yep - My Mom always had us gargle with salt water when a cold (sniffles or sore throat) was coming on. Also gargle after dental visits for a couple days. Simple. Works!

My Wife has big bottles of Betadine at the barn. She uses it on her horses. I guess the medicine we use on the horses is good to combat covid. Ivermectin and betadine.

Yep. I used a navage (even though I hate their incessant commercials) when I had covid. It actually makes sense to try to flush out the excess mucus. The immune system can get to the internal parts of the body but if the virus can exist as a vector in mucus then it persists longer near but external to your tissues, from which to keep trying to re-infect those tissues.

I tested for Covid twice and I had pneumonia in both lungs in the year 2000.
The pneumonia was the worst 2-1/2 weeks of my life.
At some point I couldn't sleep for 3 days because of the snap crackle and pop of the sound of the gas exchange in my lungs.
I beat Covid in 3 days both times.
I'll take Covid anyday.

Actually, there may be added benefit from adding 4 grams of xylitol, with that standard saline rinse.

Xlear was in a study or two, and the FDA told them to remove any studies in reference to how saline with xylitol helped prevent COVID-19 in small studies.
