The turkey is in the oven now. I will carve it at the appropriate time. Tomorrow, I will bring the slices over to my friend’s house along with a platter and some decorative greens. All they will have to do is warm and serve.
I do stuff early and then reheat. MUCH easier that way. I use my back porch, if cold enough, as a large refrigerator for storage as needed.
PS. I’m not taking Dad out. He is taking me. He gets very upset if I don’t let him hold doors etc. Yesterday we went to a store which doesn’t have much traffic (they sell very high services and appliances). I parked in the handicapped space. Dad chewed me out since I don’t have a handicapped hanger and told me he would NOT pay the fine. But, it was so very much easier to get in and out. (I did not inconvenience anyone)

JUST IN: Surveillance footage shows a car flying over a curb/barrier at the U.S. - Canada border, much different than what Fox News suggested earlier.
The footage shows the car traveling at highway speeds before it got airborne near the border.
An eye witness said the following: “So we were walking up the road and we seen this car coming down towards the border and he was flying over a hundred miles an hour.”
“There was a car in front of him. He swerved out, went in front of the car, hit the fence, went flying up into the air. He went up into the air and we just seen the fireball and that’s all we could see. It was just covered in smoke everywhere.”

Rainbow Bridges summary, from what I have garnished so far:
- Two individuals in the vehicle possibly had an altercation
- Floored it for unknown reasons
- Hit a barricade
- The car flew 15 feet in the air
- Vehicle smashed into a building and caught fire
- Vehicle was possibly stolen
- Both people died
You can see here there is a sharp curve it was not able to navigate due to it going a reported 100 MPH. It was most likely not a terrorist attack.

My back pain is off the charts today.
But I managed to get my Sweet Potato Pie
with Amaretto assembled and it is baking now.
I wanted to do it for Hubby as he loves
it so much. I tried not to let on too
much, as he would have done it FOR me
and he does enough around here as it is!

I believe I read “Biden’s” DOJ is not going to prosecute him (like they are Trump) but the Republican committee is still investigating Bidens actions.
I pray tomorrow you’re back is good so you can enjoy the day. My son wanted to pick me up so I could spend all day over there, but I told him I’m not even supposed to sit more than 2 hours and I usually don’t make it that long, so we’ll see how it goes.
I had just gotten out of hospital after cancer surgery Thanksgiving 2019. I couldn’t hardly eat anything. My son’s (the one in Plano) roommate blended turkey, potatoes and gravy, but wasn’t great that way. Could eat the cheesecake.
So I’m thankful I can at least eat tomorrow.

I was going to post videos of other news sources saying this and seeing the car flying, but they were from sources people don’t like. There again I thought Fox was now on the list also.
