DeSantis never should’ve embraced the Rove/Bush brigades.

The BUSHIES were mad in 2016 when Trump beat JEBTrump didn't beat JEB! JEB! defeated himself. People would have clapped for a pair of muddy boots next to the door before they would clap for JEB. So that's the problem, Bushes seeking retribution against th 97% of the Republican voters who wouldn't supprot JEB. Helluva winning strategy that.

Only this time, he was counting senator’s votes and they f***ed him over. Would be fascinating to know who Karl thought he had but ended up not having…

DeSantis never should’ve embraced the Rove/Bush brigades. Yup, but in fairness to DeSantis, they were probably the only source of ready money and support he could get so long as Trump was sucking up all the oxygen.
DeSantis' mistake was running against Trump. He should have waited till 2028. He woulda been a shoe-in.

Not only is this the end for the Bushes, but its the end for a lot of folks running against cold hard realities. I would love to know what these people are FOR! Untrammeled invasion or do you plan to do something about it besides - well orange man tweets mean. Or Putin is an anti-democratic thug, which is name calling dressed up as foreign policy.
Karl you want Trump out. You want Paxton out. Okay. Fine. We give you what you want. Your guys are in charge. The House and Senate are behind you and the mealey mouthed Supreme Court isn't going to do anything to stop you. So, Karl, what's the plan? What do you want to do?
And there is the problem. They want to call the shots so bad they don't know what shots they want to call besides taking care of your special friends who need a little help with their $500B business.

I think George W received many praises because most of us here couldnt even conceive of a candidate like President Trump appearing for the Republican ticket as our choice to make. A once in a lifetime opportunity came and now appears likely to be our choice again. That is if we truly want to keep the Republic that our founding Father’s gave us.
