Actually I thought Zach Wilson played well, once he got comfortable, he certainly looked better than Allen, who I think is rapidly declining.

Aaron should hang it up. He’s earned a nice retirement.

That’s a shame. Hate to see the old guy go out this way.

Shades of the 1991 Eagles. A defense for the ages and Randall Cunningham in his prime changing the way QB is played ... and he destroyed his leg in the season opener.
And all Eagles fans were left with for the last 30+ years is "what if...?"

Sad for Rodgers ad fans that wanted to see him play, but the Jets WON the game and looked good. So perhaps there’s a silver lining.

Yep. Saw it with my own eyes last night. Glad the Jets still won it, though. Start on a high note.
There was this little niggling thought in the back of my head, since Rodgers went to the Jets. ‘You guys are buying a pig in a poke! Don’t do it!’ But, no one listens to me. ;)
I wish Aaron well. Hell-of-a-way to go out, though. He’ll be giving back all the money, Right?

P.S. I’m STILL mad at Bret Favre; that’s always a given. I sat there in a Sports Bar at lunch with friends and cried with ALL THE GROWN MEN AROUND ME when he announced his retirement. And then he goes to the Vi-Queens? What a slap in the face that was. Jerk.

Rodgers will be a Bear or Viking next year.

Aaron Rodgers injury update: Jets fear torn Achilles for star QB with MRI looming...Rodgers' season CAREER could be over Coming back from an achilles injury is a long, slow process, especially at Rodgers' age.

Great defense, very good running game, but now with a QB in Zach Wilson who is awful. 8-9 win season, with Aaron Rodgers coming back next year. Matthew Stafford or Blake Bortles coming in?

If it’s a torn Achilles it’s likely his career.

So he truly is following in Brett Favre’s footsteps. Expect to see him in purple next season as he replaces Kirk Cousins as the Vikings starting quarterback.

I hate to see that happen to anyone. A pilot that I know had the same thing happen to him, was out for months.
On the lighter side, the Packers STILL beat the Bears without Rodgers under center. The Bears, and Justin Fields, are gonna be a joke this year. What's sad is that they have a quarterback who is much better then Fields riding the bench in Bagent.

I really don’t want to be that guy, but Rodgers has been such a jerk, hard not to be a little happy.
