I have seen video of Baldwin practicing his draw immediately before he shot her. He was practicing a cross draw but he was thrusting the revolver forward with a lousy grip and his finger on the trigger, and you could see the gun moving forward in his hand. That’s a sure-fire way to fire a gun without “pulling” the trigger

I'm not talking about blaming the victim for even being on a movie set with an ass like Alec Baldwin, I'm talking about a director, practicing a scene (not filming), and not using blue rubber guns and having no ballistic shields, etc. She directed him to point the gun right at her and he did.

It seems to me that Baldwin pulling the trigger or not as an actor in a “make believe” situation is not material. What is material is his gross negligence managing security as producer of the film, and he should be charged for that.

I think the knucklehead grasped the handgun and depressed the trigger in his grip. He then pulled back the hammer and let it fly setting off the round. He honestly doesn’t remember pulling the trigger because the idiot knows nothing about safe handling.

I can’t stand the sight of the effing guy but he’s not guilty of anything. Somebody who was supposed to know gave him a gun that he was told was loaded with blanks. He’s an actor not a gun smith. It was an accident.

As much as I can't stand the sniveling little simp, Arec doesn't deserve to be charged. Hannah, the inexperienced armorer, maybe. The associate director who handed the gun to Arec, maybe. The executive producer who forced Hannah to be both armor and general prop master (oh, what, that's Arec...) so she wasn't available to personally check the guns prior to handing them to the actor, maybe. The people who were reportedly shooting the prop guns with live ammunition in the desert in the days prior to the incident, maybe.

But not Arec for pulling the trigger while he thumbed the hammer, which is what we all were saying was the only way the gun went off.

Live ammunition should never have been in the gun in the first place, and never had been allowed anywhere on set.
