A white apartment complex manager has been arrested after shocking video showed her slapping and pouring soda on black children using the facility's pool.
Kim Jennings, 62, of Greensboro, North Carolina was taken into custody by police on August 3 after they were called to the Sedgefield Garden Apartments for reports of an assault.
In the viral video, Jennings is seen spraying soda on Jace Lee-Eury, 11, and hitting him in the face with the bottle just outside of the residents-only pool.
She was charged with two counts of assault on a child under the age of 12. Jace told local media that she had also pulled his little sister's hair during the incident.
The woman said that she was infuriated with the kids who have been there before and do not live in the complex but that she 'should've handled it differently.'
'I had a soda in my hand, and I tossed it on him, and then I popped him. I did, I admit I did, and it was wrong,' Jennings told WFMY.
'When you've done it and you've done it and you've done it and you've asked him not to come back. I just reacted. But, I will say that I'm sorry that I did that' she said.
The video lit up social media over the weekend with hundreds weighing in.
According to police, when they arrived at the apartment complex, they spoke with the two kids and their parents about the assault.

I’s only corpora punishment and is NOT violent. When someone mouths off to you when THEY are committing an offense there is a legal term called “FIGTHING WORDS” and your reaction is not illegal.
If someone comes up to you in your face in a bar and starts screaming “Eff you. Eff you. Eff you bitch” you are allowed to defend yourself. Legal precedent say you don’t have to ALLOW yourself to be struck, in order to be in fear of it and defend yourself.

Do that around here, and by call 15 you’ll be on their “Do Not Respond Ever” list. When my handicapped neighbor called for a guy trying to force open her window, it took them 45 minutes to respond. The guy damaged the window but must have been scared off by a passing car. The following week, she bought a gun.

In the late-1960s, the Progressives--the people who let their kids cut school, do drugs, and smash up cars--used to say it's not the 1950s anymore. That was to justify their own self-indulgence. After all, they were ignoring their kids and doing drugs themselves.

Call the police each and every time you find them in the pool. Request a trespassing citation. If they trespass again, they can be immediately arrested.
In my country, we use agent status sticker. It allows the police to automatically make arrests of any vagrants that are on the property.
I would look into that to see if you guys have an equivalent.
