Joe Rogan cracked open a can of Bud Light and took a sip — defying calls to boycott the beer over its tie-up with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Rogan began his wildly popular Spotify podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience” on Tuesday by welcoming his guest, country music star Zach Bryan, with a toast in which they both raised cans of Bud Light.
“We’re drinking Bud Light, ladies and gentlemen,” Rogan declared at the start of the three-hour broadcast.
Rogan, anticipating fury from his many conservative-leaning listeners, offered a sarcastic apology.
“Sooooorry,” he exhaled.
“People are silly,” Rogan added.
Bryan, who received backlash online after he defended Bud Light and Mulvaney, also commented on the expected reaction on social media, adding: “We’re f–ked.”
“There’s nothing wrong with it,” replied the standup comedian and MMA announcer, whose podcast commands an audience that numbers an estimated 11 million listeners. Rogan didn’t start the backlash to Bud Light’s antics - he has nothing to do with it. Him slurping Bud Light isn’t going to do a single damn thing to end the boycott. Bud Light is done.
Mr. Rogan can have my share . . .
Looks like the WEFtists are putting pressure on him.
Lol
You know what that is, right?
He’s a sell out needs more makeup for the brown nose but is wallet fat.
Yeah, but I’m pretending it’s a little something else.
Joe Rogan must think he is invincible.
No more Joe for me.
Joe has a lot of competitors who will gladly take up his airtime.
“LOL, just because he doesn’t agree with you 100% doesn’t mean he is “for sale”.”
There are other explanations than just “for sale.”
Demon possession, for example.
So where and when were the calls to boycott Bud Lite?
I don’t recall any official boycott being organized.
I always presumed that the claims of a boycott were just to cover for the fact that everyone simply decided enough was enough and made the decision on their own.
“Demon possession, for example.”
Or, “he disagrees with you”, for example.
No body care what Rogan thinks or drinks.
A boycott of one beer is not likely to result in the loss of jobs in the beer industry.
When one poorly run company looses market share and lays off an employee, another well run company increases market share and hires an employee.
The laid off employee just has to go to work for a company that has a future.
But yes, I weep for dumb companies.
Joe and Hunter were comparatively cheap however, though certainly they have overdelivered in treasonous return.
IMHO Joe was always been part of the controlled alt media.
Just how do you think he got that “FU” money—and do you expect him to go against that now?
For what Joe B has treasonously delivered, he’s been an incredible bargain compared to Joe R.
How much did AB pay that whore to do that?
“Just how do you think he got that “FU” money”
He signed a deal with spotify.
“do you expect him to go against that now?”
He’s already got the money, he can pretty much do what he wants now. If spotify wants to dump him, he can just make a new show on youtube or twitter or somewhere else. Spotify only owns the show, they don’t own him, and the show without him is worthless, while he, on a new show, is still worth hundreds of millions.
Yeah, and Elon’s an engineering genius, Zuck is a marketing mastermind, and...
What are you disputing? You don’t think Rogan is the main attraction of “The Joe Rogan Experience”???
Or do you dispute that JRE is the leading podcast in the world and has been for many years now?
Or do you dispute that Rogan was able to command a record amount of money when he sold his podcast to spotify?
Which of these indisputable facts are you scoffing at exactly?
