I absolutely reject the validity of *all* “hate crime” laws. If a person was,in fact,shot without justification serious consequences should result. Violence against a child...an elderly person...or a disabled person should have extra penalties. As for extra time because the victim was a freak? No way,Jose!

Let me re-read that again.
At first, I thought the headline was telling me a Trans-MAN ridiculed and shot a WOMAN, because he thought the WOMAN looked ridiculous wearing a dress. (Crazy, but possible)
