Lawmakers said they had "an argument" with a commanding officer at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida as they pushed for answers about UFOs.

During the recent trip to Eglin Air Force Base, Luna said she, Burchett and Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., were blocked by the Pentagon and Air Force from seeing information and pictures, from reading testimony from pilots who saw potential UFOs and from talking to witnesses.
They visited Eglin Air Force Base because they were told they were going to be briefed on UFO-related issues, Burchett said.
Luna added that they were following up on whistleblowers' claims.
"The synopsis had nothing to do UFOs, and we stopped the thing in the middle of it and said, ‘Hey, this is not what you all told us we were coming down here for.’ And they basically told us, ‘We’re not going to get into UAPs,'" Burchett said.
Luna said this sparked the confrontation with the commanding general at the base.
"Even before we got down there, the Pentagon tried to stop the field hearing," she said.
"After much arm twisting, we got some of the information, but the fact is … that they answer to Congress acting on behalf of the American people, and any government entity that attempts to stonewall us is doing nothing in the best interest of the American people," Luna said.
"If the Air Force, the Pentagon thinks they're above Congress, then they have another thing coming to them. We told them we were going to do this if they continue to hide information."

Even before we got down there, the Pentagon actually tried to cancel the field hearing. And it's important to note that these were whistleblowers--these were pilots that had come forward to representative Gates's office with information saying this needs to be investigated—we have an increase in sightings in this region and it's a cause for concern for national security reasons we don't know what it is.
So we went down there and we were stonewalled by the USAF. They would not give us access to testimony from some of the pilots. They were hiding images and information we were told were there--pictures which we still haven't seen.
What ended up happening was we had to call House Armed Services Chairman Rogers ( Mike Rogers--R-AL) and got the Pentagon and got The Department of the Air Force involved.
We actually got into an argument with the general of that base and I just it's important to note that we were there simply to follow up on the whistleblowers that came forward with information. If the Department of the Air Force and Pentagon thinks that they're above Congress they have something else coming to them.

They then called House Armed Services Chairman Mike Rogers who then called the Pentagon and the Dept of Air Force to force the commanding General at Eglin to show them what they went to see.
Burchett has reported that what they saw was shocking.

Mathematically, the probability is other advance civilizations should exist, though that chance is infinitesimally small.
IF aliens are here, the tech required for that visit is not generations away from what we have, it millennia away. There would be nothing any country could do to ‘defend’ against them. No more so than a dog could defeat an F-16.
